Thread: I HAVE HAD IT!
i gained most of my xp for survival by walking around in aimless circles for a week....just a single week. I would log out using a camp (just to be on the safe side) and i traveled to almost every POI on tatooine before we got the list in our datapads.
To tell you the truth, you can find a lot of fun in the game through random encounters with players. Found the squill cave because of someone else's tent sitting out in the middle of nowhere. The guy pointed me toward the entrance, and we waited for another four people before embarking (as a note: this is also where i gained a ton of my hunting xp *grin*).
after that i walked around until i found the tuskan fortress...and watcha really stupid partyrun right into the front door. Was very interesting to watch all of em get slaughtered except for one (who i ran in and dragged out.) for saving him he gave me my first word of advice....

You know...i am grinding survival right now (im 4/4/4/3) and I plop'ed down a camp 400m from the Coronet starport (just outside the south entrance). I had people stop by non-stop....just hanging out and chatting in my camp. At one point there were 9 people sitting around the camp fire....people that i didnt even know. Yah...I am sitting in camp and making practice camps (which give so little xp)...but what I learned from this the most is that placing camps in heavily populated areas makes the grind a bit easier when you actually meet new people and stuff.
There used to be an old saying in the Ranger forums that read something like... "A person will do all he can do avoid your camp if he doesn't need it, but a person that comes and sits in your camp for awhile, that person is a Ranger"

Wow that is so far off from the original,![]()
Oh well, I hope you get the drift, a lot of the people that stop by your camp for a bit are Scouts and Rangers who know to well how long that XP takes to get, and are helping out by upping your visitor stats.
Its kinda there to help you if you have out of game hardware or software trouble.
