the problem is: we might have finished the quest, got the holo and then sold it. the proof of completion is in our quest journals, but there isnt any proof of reward delivery in our inventories and what we did with those items once we received them. i didnt get my holo from the quest either, but i'm not holding my breath waiting for SOE to give me a new one or a new shot at getting one.

Get together with a cross server buddie,

Just nab someone from an alt server,
have them make a dud toon,
you be bodyguard and escort them on missions,
you keep rewards,
then go make a dud toon on their server so they may do same.

Toons age does not effect the mission, you just need RotW installed.

NOTE: you may have to sponser them for the faction points to be Reb/Imp, but at least you get your rewards

Good idea.

I don't see how allowing some dishonest people get two holos be worse than not allowing some honest players to get ONE. It doesn't effect combat in any way. Don't allow the amor part to be redone. Just allow people who have completed the quest to go to Leia and get the holo, ONCE.

Has anyone tried conversing with Leia again? Surely they could make it so you could get the holo 'after the event', afterall if you mastered pilot before you can now go speak with the admiral and he gives you a medal.....

Exactly. They can figure out that you are due a medal ex post facto. They can figure out whether you've completed a quest or not, or else we'd all be able to take quests over and over. The only remaining question is whether than can validate that you had at one point received the award, given that you might have traded it or whatnot. I say it doesn't matter - this quest award was borked for the vast majority (if not all) people, so SOE should just give the award. So some people might end up with two - too bad, maybe program your quests a little better next time, SOE.

EDIT: Ok, when I originally posted, I hadn't read that they were gonna try to get everyone their armor. I'm a little skeptical that it'll work out right, given how many people have traded/bought/sold armor by now, but presuming that it works, I hope they offer up the holos too. Shouldn't be any harder, really.

After completeing the quest and getting my armor, I heard about a certain holo the the other 2 factions were getting and rebs weren't getting one... I didn't mind, unitl I later found out we were supposed to get a holo too!

I went back and spoke to Leia, but it was a dead end (I don't remember what she said, but no holo)

Then there was the announcement about giving out the rewards for the clone armor quest and I thought, "Oh, good, I'm getting my holo". I logged in and checked my inventory...

lo and behold...

A second set of clone armor was in my inventory, but NO holo!
