Just like the Royal Guard TIE quest bug? How long have they known about that one, and yet its still there? I would say dont expect any fixsoon.
Im currently stuck with both the bugged TIE quest and this bugged Y8 quest. CSR's are worthless for anything ROTW related.

i have the same problem , no waypoint, no Y-8 around,

GAH!!!
I have gotten to this point in the quest...is the second one I did =/...first one was like right after ROTW came out on my main toon...
now I can't get it on my alt =(?...was sooo much easier this time around too till this came up =/

Your Tie quest is bugged because you didn't pick the over dramatic response to the last question you were asked.
The Y-8 quest is bugged because no one tests these things before a publish is launched. Even if it was found defective in testing the devs will usualy ignore the bug and fix it sometime in the distant future.

I dont get a waypoint for the quest?

Currently I am at the same escort mission. I have tried all ways to enter/exit the Kashyyyk system(sp) and still no Mission Recieved. Has anyone gotten this resolved through /petition? And has anyone /bugged it?
I am sure there are folks who have succeeded in finishing this series of quests, and wondering if they have found a walkaround or what?

Not since publish 18 they havn't.

Is this quest bugged for EVERYONE, or is it just a "1/10" occurance? I would like to get this ship soon, but if I have to wait, it's alright.

Bugged for everyone. The Y-8 convoy part of the mission isn't showing up for anyone, which I think is roughly 2/3-3/4 through it. I'd sit tight till we know a fix is on the way--which as I said, I dunno when it'll be, but judging from the swiftness of the acknowledgement of the issue, I'd hope it's at least relatively soon.

It is bugged and the devs are working on a fix. I don't have an ETA for it, though.
