Thread: Y-8 Quest Bugged?

So I was doing the Y-8 Quest on my Jedi and I had a CTD right as I was hyperspacing to Wookiee World space, logged back in in space but no waypoint for the escort Y-8 Convoy, dropped quest, repicked it up still no waypoint, did quests for other people picked it up again still no waypoint, is this a bug or am I just screwed?

Is there anyway around this bug? Im desperately looking for some content and the Y-8 was my last hope.

/sigh I only did this just before pub 18 on my Main and it worked why oh why do they break more than they fix every damn publish and then we wait 6 months for the fix to the 'fix'

The Y-8 is said to be getting a little love hopefully soon. As it is... I can mine better and faster in my xwing. Your not missing much with the Y-8 currently.

hmm, very strange. I took this mission and just as i configed by ship to go back into space to do it, all the power in my apt went out. Came back andi was in space, no wp. Landed, aborted mission, retook it, went back up into space, no wp. Logged off, did a fullscan, logged back in, retook mission, launched into space, no wp. I wish i knew this f*cking mission was broken before i spent 2.5hrs getting to this point.

Possible quest spoilers, you have been warned....
Two nights ago I decided to start the mining quests. I got to the escort Y-8 convoy mission but could not begin it. The journal says to go to the Kashyyyk system, I can launch from Kashyyyk, hyper to, out of, back into, but the quest never starts. Then last night a guildmate starts the series and gets stuck at the same point. Just wondering if there was a work around or anything.

Ok, what Y-8? Are there mining ships just floating in Kashyyyk space and I have to find them? If thats the case, ok, its not bugged. I just thought I would get a waypoint like every other quest.

I am now stuck at the same point, I have flown all over the Kashyyyk system and there are no Y-8's to be found 
Any suggestions to work around?

Yes it looks like it is bugged. In fact, the Trando camp quest which involves a similiar "Escort ship through Kash Space" mission is having the same problem. Since Publish 18, the waypoints for both these mission s have not been created and the ships have not been spawning in Kash.
There is no currently workaround, but Tomo is aware of it and will be bringing it to the attention of the proper folks.

I don't get the WP to the Mining Vessels.

I passed this along a few days ago and they're working on it now. No ETA for a fix, but I've let them know it's high-priority.
