i went to yavin cause my guild wanted to track a RARE GORAX i found 2 with in 1 hr and killed them its asburd when you have to constaly jump through hoops for the devs
i found the BH in about 1 hr after going to all cites once and having to make a second loop then earning the badge now that was fun
/sigh, "Lord"Brisbane - the RARE GORAX was a multiple spawn as a aniversary present, i think there were 4 on each adventure planet.
I have been gagging for a quest which doesn't take an hour to do,stop whining and quit or make the most out of the game as it is.
Be constructive not destructive.

Be patient, wait for the rush to stop (As someone else said) then things are much more enjoyable - in this game and in most areas of RL.
or read the walk-through in this forum if you don't want to actually work for this - this thread is making me happy anyway, clearly people don't have the metal to do this quest so the badges will be rarer and actually mean something.

Turbine used to do these impossible to find quests quite alot in Asheron's Call (Aun Ralirea, Diamond Lords...). Eventually they got the idea thatmost playersdetested them, and moved in a different direction.
I'm surprised to see so many people (at least in this thread) actually enjoy this sort of thing. I view the Hero of Tatooine as very weak content, with the primary challenge being whether you can finish it before being bored to tears.
To those that enjoy this quest, I respect that and certainly won't insult you. I think you all ought to do the same towards the people that just want to blow through it. We all have our own idea of fun, and to each his own.
I did start this this quest thismorning and it seems to be going ok so far. The moisture farmer I was able to find after an hour or two of looking. I then started looking for the boar, but gave up after 2 hours or so. I switched over to looking for the bounty hunter and found him in Mos Espa, my 5th city.
Total I have about 5 hours invested and have 2 of the 4 done (though I'm sure they are the 2 easiest legs).

I just can say it again : "do each quest directly after the server restart". If you're looking for the pirates, go to the farm and logout there. After the restart, *walk* around the farm (don't ever think about calling your bikes) and they'll spawn. Same goes for the boar, the farmer and the BH. Did the four quests in four days with a total of about 40-45 minutes of work 
If the "after restart" is too late/early for you then it's only a matter of luck. You just can hope no one else had the spawn(s) before you

I found the pirate last night 1100m outside of Anchorhead ironically. I planned on going for the boar at server up today, but Gorath has been loading for 45 minutes now and I have to work in 2 hours

i found the boar by not looking for it.
i was riding around the wilderness of tat looking for things to tame and bang there was the boar. killed it and got the badge no problem.
only 2 i have had problems with so far is getting down the seenex cave to where the farmers family are and finding that damn BH.I have seen him twice but both times somebody else spoke to him first and then he despawnedi waited around forhim torespawn, but no such luck so iwent to all the other cities and could'nt find him so i gave up for now.
I'm in no big rush to get all the badges, the longer i take the longer the game will be playable.

If you haven't turned in every "Rebel Orders" and "Imperial Plans" disk that you loot, instead of destroying them, you won't find the spawns.

Way back in December 03 I used to traverse back and forth across the planets looking for creatures to tame and bounties (dabbled in both). I came across a BH giving a quest. He wasn't on Tat, but on Corellia near Kor Vela! Dummy me, i didn't take the quest when he said "I see you are busy working for someone else". Never saw him again, even though I made a wp. Anyone know what it was?
As for the hermit, i have found the farmer and the BH. Been looking since, well, December. I don't think Ranger helps if they aren't spawned, and a search for known wps of the boar and pirates range all over the map. Too bad there isn't a lot of other reasons to run around on Tat, unless you want to kill those dadgum kreetles, or the quest might actually be fun.

Hero quest is aspose to be hard and time consuming y else they give u an awsome thign like a rez ring?

i gave a ranger an ADK kit to help me find farmer and all quests...but he seemed to log out as soon as i found the farmer myself while he was doing some random route...and then he logged and i havent seen him online at all for weeks....do it urself...i spent weeks...4 hours a day to do the quests..and currently im looking for the boar and looked everywhere with a speeder..and now on my varactyl...wow so much fun.....i hate this crap but hey..when i find it..ill have something to show...who knows in 5 min u just might find that boar ur looking for
