Thread: Modified mini PA Guide
Ok, first off, is this an amazing coinscidence or do you also have an account on Gorath. My guild is The Crimson Legion <CRIM>.
Anyways, to the point. You indicated that a guild need not be disbanded when moving the hall but it needs to be done quickly. I will be moving my guild hall when cities arrive, but I don't want to have to reinvite 72 members to my guild.
If anyone has done this, please let me know.
I have heard from several other people with one CSR confirmation (although I can't say I 100% trust this particular CSR, but I'm not mentioning names):
You have 20 days to get 5 people to join your PA or the Hall disappears/may disappear. This coorelates with the pre-release information provided by several developers during Beta, although they had never stated an exact period of time. They had, however, said that five was the minimum, and that you would have at least a couple of weeks to gather them.
Also, enemies CAN warp to your roof, in a sense. They get stuck in the floor/ceiling from time to time, and can on occasion attack you from there. This has happened to me and others in not only my PA but other PA's on Scylla on several occasions. It's a bug resulting from the roof of the Hall being recognized by the game as "outside". To fix this if it happens to you, unfortunately you have to run out of your Hall until the stuck creature follows you and back in again. Running straight to the back as quickly as you can when you're followed tends to help keep the bug from activating, but it's not a perfect fix.

8) The top floor is a roof where missions cannot spawn and npc enemies cant follow. And you can survey and sample up there too. (not sure about the survey anymore)
This is partially true, missions can't spawn there however npc enemies CAN follow you onto the roof.
Also as stated before guild halls do work as medical centers as well.
Otherwise nice guide ![]()
What commands are used by the PA Leader to give other members the ability to sponsor or approve new recruits?
Not much on the radial. What other commands are useful.

Go into member management/members
Select a member. The next window lists the permissions you can grant them. Give them "sponsor" and "approve". The window will refresh each time you click ok. I believe you can select one item at a time.
Thank you. It's just a complilation from all folks who have listed.
Update on Guild existance issue:
In chatting with a few CSRs, I found that a guild name is NOT removed from the database after x amount of time. The ONLY way a guild name is deleted from the database is if the guild is disbanded. If the guild is not disbanced - the name will remain in existance indefinitely. What this means is thatthose of you who wish to move your hall - there is no time limit.
The 'Member Management' Guild Members list can only list 50 people. So, once you reach 51 members, there will be people in your guild who you cannot perform any administrative action on. If you are in a large guild, it would be in your best interest (when starting from scratch) to invite all your Officers first so that you can give them the proper permissions and titles they need.
The list is not in order by guild join date, but rather by when the character itself was created. So, once you breach the 50 member mark, there will be invitees who get automatically truncated from the list just based on how old their character is.
We have been told that a fix for the poor PA system is close, so we won't have to worry about things like this in the future - this is still a good heads up for the larger guilds out there, though.

My PA hall works as a medical facility. It has since day one, and without any furniture in it. It does not auto-heal you like the medical center in a town or a camp, but it allows you to heal yourself. So there is no need to have special med units or droids. All PAs should function like this, several others I have visited work fine.
Ko-alri - no, it doesn't work as a medical facility. Anyone can heal in a building or campsite anywhere - but if you're in a medical facility, you get a boost in the percentage of heal points and XP. Anywhere else, you don't - you get a hit on it- including a guild hall.
You still need to whip out those 110 rating med droids if you want that extra oomph in medical healing.
The option to add guild:xyz to your housing admin lists is a godsend. Unfortunately it doesnt appear to work on factories and harvesters... wish it did...
