Give everyone in the real world a happy holidays, but don't bring political, religious and hallmark beliefs into the game......

Wookie Life Day is nothing more than propoganda brought forth from the rebel alliance to bringsympathy towards the slave race from the ignorant citizens of the empire.

Wookies and their friends in possession of this propagandous contraband should be scanned and placed back into the shackles where they belong. Those registered in service to the empire of course should only be in possession of these items in order to aid the empire in discovering where they are manufactured in mass quantities, so that the rebellion's attempts to conceal smuggling, sabotage and terrorism beneath the guise of a holiday can be brought to an end, for the safety of all the empire.

Who is forcing it on you ? is someone holding a gun to your head saying be merry or die? take this gift or the cat gets it, exactly how is it being forced on to you?

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. This year the devs should just give out something to every active acount and not worry about length of playing time They tried that last year and when the whiners came out in force the devs showed their lack of a backbone and caved.

This way, we still got to observe life day and get a gift if we have been playing for over thirty days.

No, we dont get one if we've been playing for 30 days, we get one of our character is more trhan 30 days old, which is a kick in the teeth to RPers like me who sometimes reroll their characters. Ive played since Euro launch with no more than 3 months total spent away from the game, and yet I wont get one of these, because I recently rerolled my character to get into some new RP ideas.

It should be tied to ACCOUNT age, not character age, and if the devs are worried about people creating characters to generate credits for server-swaps, limit it to three characters per-account. If they can limit Jedi on a per-account basis, then they can limit a little holiday quest too.

lol you don't have to be a christian to receive a gift from someone at Christmas.

If a jewish person tried to give me a gift during Hanukkah should I be offended & refuse it because I am not Jewish?

Sounds like your mayor friend was like many of the other a holemayors who stole all the orbs they were supposed to hand out to their residents last year

I am still pissed about that happening last year. Our mayor at the time said we didnt get any because he forgot to register our town on the global map.... but in another city I accidently found a vendor owned by his alt loaded with tons of orbs for 300k each a few months later.I wonder where he got them all?

Damn, why can't more people be like us? I couldn't care less if someone wants to pray to God, Allah, Budda, or whatever. I still bow my head when someone prays at Thanksgiving.

It's called "respect for others". Some people need to learn it.

I was wondering if anyone here knows if this is the only gift that we get this year. I mean two of the things were out last year and then some get lucky and get one of the new paintings.

Well what if I got an orb but still got mine from last christmas. Would that be equal to getting coal in my stocking? Or will we log in christmas morning and have a present in our inventory. Last year we all got holos plus the wookiee life day gifts.

Not that anyone knows yet but rumors are alwyas something to think about when you have a long day of work to do yet...

Sorry, but there will be no "automatic" Christmas gift this year.

I do want to thank the events team for pulling all of the Life Day events together though.
