Surius: Okay, I was visited by the old man, and I was glowing when I logged on after publish 10, so we have confirmed that part! I imagine you are right about the rest then, so thanks for putting up the information! I'm sorry I thought different...
snipaho: This is case, yes.
Edit: I was visited by the old man, and I was glowing when I first logged on after publish 10

- He would count as a hologrinder if he finished some of his holo professions, and would get credit for them, yes. If he was not glowing already when he got the visit, then he only had one profession left to go!
"I hope you didn't take offense to my posting. I do apreciate you consolidating the info. Hopefully between the two of us and the others posting here we have help sort out some of the confusion."
- Not at all

3. If you did NOT unlock before publish 10, then you will still get credit for your grinding.
I. If you completed 1 holocron profession, you get 1 free branch unlocked when you get to the village, and you will get the experience required to train in the branch
II. If you completed 2 holocron professions, you get 2 free branches unlocked when you get to the village, and you will get the experience required to train in those branches
III. If you completed 3 holocron professions, you get 3 free branches unlocked when you get to the village, and you will get the experience required to train in those branches
IV. If you completed 4 holocron professions, you get 4 free branches unlocked when you get to the village, and you will get the experience required to train in those branches
V. If you completed 5 holocron professions (You should be on your silent), you get 5 free branches unlocked when you get to the village, and you will get the experience required to train in those branches, and you will get automatic access to the village
IMPORTANT: Make sure that DIRECTLY after you unlock one branch and get the experience from it, that you train in the branch, or your next branch unlock will not give you the experience, because your force sensitive experience cap is reached from 1 branch unlock.

um this is not what i understood form TH's post in "in live"
he wrote there that there were 8 holo/hidden prof needed
so according to the following, to get one freefs branch, you needed to have completed at least 3 holos, not one, as you say above. have i gotten this wrong? persanaly i did 2 actuall holo's and 6 more proff. i hope i hit one more in those to get at least one free branch.

if you have… The credit you will receive is…
No professions remaining: 6 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
1 profession remaining: 5 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
2 professions remaining: 4 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
3 professions remaining: 3 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
4 professions remaining: 2 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
5 professions remaining: 1 Force Sensitive branch will be granted
hope i am wrong...
As most of the guide, not confirmed until someone actually does it, but since he didn't reference anything else in his post (Thunderheart), and he only listed up to 6 holocron professions, than I am assuming that this is what goes.
But I did have all the required badges needed. And I was glowing at server startup Tuesday morning.
You can choose to keep the skills on your main and develop him into a Jedi, or you can drop the skills, and have two regular characters. Your 2nd could also become your Jedi.
I hope that answers your question!
