One button clothes/armorchanging:
Find a toolbar pane that is empty.
Drag your armor/clothes to the hotkeys.
Make a macro usingmultiples of thiscommand: /ui action toolbarSlot##
## = 00 is the first hotkey (leftmost hotkey button) on the top row, and 11 is the hotkey for the last hotkey button on the top row (rightmost button). It goes 00-11. For the second row it goes from 12-23.
Also, notice the capitalized "S" on toolbarSlot (lower case s will not work)
Example:
I leave my first (leftmost, top row) hotkey button empty, as my macro will go there. My clothes, say 5 pieces, go to the hotkeys next to the first one.
My macro looks like this:
/ui action toolbarSlot01; /ui action toolbarSlot02; /ui action toolbarSlot03; /ui action toolbarSlot04; /ui action toolbarSlot05;
Drag this macro to the empty first hotkey button and ta'da, push that button and you've put on a whole suit of clothes.
I have one set for my armor and another set for regular clothes. Works very well putting armor quick before a fight, then taking off for regular clothes after the fight while regenerating HAMS. I would bet this works beautifully for clothes changing for entertainers too ![]()

Did you know you can delete off-topic posts in the Tuesday Tips thread? Just etc etc.

OK, seriously.
Use the /alias command to shorten many complicated commands. For example;
/alias hot1 /ui action toolbarSlot00
And you only have to type /hot1 to use the first button on the toolbar.
Please do not take T1nman33's advice and just destroy base defenders on faction missions that aren't your own.
It takes FOREVER for faction bases to respawn the NPC's that guard them.
If you must kill the defenders, please blow up the base too.
I'd much rather have my mission completed by someone elsethan run 500m or more to discover someone has left me an empty base to blow up. That's like a slap in the face.
If u are in a hunting part and a doctor or medic is present stick close to them for heals. If you run away from them when they run up to you they may get mad and decide just not to run up to you again! Pay attention to your stats, dont go running up to brawl something when you have half your ham gone.. a medic will not risk there neck to go run up to the aggro.
I love to heal people but i get very frustrated when they dont listen. I simply assume they don't want to be healed. Makes it easier on me. So if you want heals, stick close. We dont do it on purpose we have a range limitation.
go get a mouse that has an extra button for you to assign it as the double-click button, during the grind, that's a really finger saver!!!

1st:
create macros for basic pet commnads (group; heel, kill, etc)
2nd:
go to options and set up hot keys for the macros:
ctrl-shft-a = kill
much much faster
/yell heel works at a much farther distance than just saying it when a pet gets stuck
putting pets on guard (you) is not always a good idea. sometimes they will go off after nearby monsters that look at you wrong. bad move when you are taking down a pirate base next to a giant dalyrake nest (as i learned recently).
good ch xp: get a good creature, and use it as a baby (dewbacks, gsp, etc)to hunt noob critters (rills, gorgs and the like).
if you have to go afk for a while, take a close in mission, chances are it will be complete when you are done. i get a couple of freebies each night when i cook dinner ![]()
Also, to add to ExitInterview's tip, if you can't target the item in your house, type "/pickup ExactNameofObject"
Of course, replace "ExactNameofObject" with the name of the object you can't pick up. ![]()
I concur with OrenJ, if you have to take out the Imp/Rebels of someone elses mission, please finish off the base so I get faction points and credits and can quickly get a new mission. Otherwise I have to run out there and get minimal XP to finish the mission.
