Id say 1 of 3 tapes he drop are reasonably goodlike pistol acc or block
1of 15 are good like rifle acc w moving or 2hand acc
maybe 1 of 50 are exp or tapes worth the same like weapon ass

Personally I think those of thus not grinding like to go out hunting with chance of getting cool loot and maybe a decent challenge in killing some uber mob. As for the loot angle there is only so many mobs places you can go that have mobs that drop nice stuff on regular basis.
You have say gdk for hide but that usally camped and only takes one to kill. Next can do krayt but that sucks unless have a couple of uber rifleman and ranger and if not chances are someone will killsteal and get loot otherwise. Next can try geo caves but that camped a lot times with a jedi that can out dam becasue of zero resist weapon killing stealing at will. FYI jedi near master has been seen to do 5 to 7k dam a sec on acklay. Almost impossible for even full group to prevent some like that jedi from ksing.
Now next we can do NS and while can drop nice stuff still very rare and no guarantees.
Now can do corvette by yourself but that is boring after a while and always same loot item that worth anything. Um lets still have dwb well that is a challenge but takes a large group and for amount of killing you need to do loot drop reward is very poor.
Ok now hmmm what is left um take money missions oooh exciting. Then umm well you get my point ? I am not whinning I am pointing out why so many camp and we are so aware of it. I tis because there is few and far between good loot mobs for a leveled elite profession to hunt. If there was far more good loot mobs the annoying campers be less noticable and the rest of us have better chance of getting nice drop too.
SWG needs to add content big time. If takes making mobs 10 times harder than so be it as long as in the end the loot drop was increased to match difficulty. But really reducing spawn times just makes for more campers and others feeling they not have a chance otherwise start to killsteal when they never did before.
By the way if you are a crafter and think plenty to do and do not have problem with combat profession when players gets ksed or every spot camped how would you feel if swg made ok to for anybody to empty your harvestors at will. Or maybe your factory. Bet hear the whines then LOL.
I have to agree that removing content is not a very good fix, but I think its temporary.
Why do these need to be on timers anyway, why not spawn at random intervals, or what Haun had suggested above, player can only do it once or twice per day so everyone gets a chance.
BTW everyone can use a harvestor now and collect resources, andmost crafters don't like it.
But nerfing it in this way is bad for the game too. A better solution is to make these missions instanced so camping is irrelevant.

Taking more high end loot items out of the economy is not good for anyone because the only thing that will happen is that thevalueof these items will jump even further out most players' price range. It is hard to find armor experimentation tapes, but not impossible. It still possible to make the same 80% kinetic 71% base composite without being a 12 point crafter, so I haven't bothered paying 20+ million for them on my server. The encumberances & conditionare not as good as a 12 point AS, but people will buy it anyways for the same price. The complaining that led to the limited supply of skill tapes hasen't hurt me one bit, but it does affects people everytime they equip my armor.

So true. I often wonder about the intelligence (or lack thereof) of this game's population. Removing items from the game via nerfs drives up the prices if the items, not down. I also find it odd that often times the very people that complain about crafters and loot hunters "gouging" them in one breath say that it's okay because they can make X millions of credits an hour/day/etc running solo group Janta missions.
I agree with pretty much all of that, except the good loot such as the AA's and CA's in the Bat cave were way to easy to get, not to mention way to easy for someone to stand by and macro loot, whilealot of peopleand groups arekilling NS and high lvl stuff getting jack squat someone is sitting on there butts collecting all the good stuff, and whenever i'd go down there i'd see the same people usually AFK...i'd try to get somthing but as soon as it would spawn it would be gone....camping a spot like that isn't good, that cave should never had that good of stuff in it, at least not dropping that good of stuff regularly like it did, compared to what it takes to kill somthing way harder and getting nothing to show for it...
Now Nyax is a hard fight and should drop somthing good though i've only gotten to fight him maybe 3 or 4 times and i've been playing since day oneand got nothing but stupid Cyban Granades or whatever they're called..but there again, it should be set where Nyax spawns faster and someone can only enter the place once or twice a day and nobody or group can enter if someones already in there intill they die or kill Nyaxand when Nyax is killed the player or group is automatically kicked outta the place....well that would be my ideal way of doing it...
The main problem with the high end loot, it makes the people who are able to get in the server when it first loads rich and obtain all the high end loot, which in turns screws over about 90% of the rest of the population trying to even get a chance at it...heck just the other day someone on my serverposted that theBigNS elder that spawns once a day isn't camped anymore because he had been the one camping it for the last 3 months and killing her at server start, he decided to quit doing it because he said it wasn't worth it....of course if I were him, the last thing i'd do is come out with a post saying that I had been camping her for the last 3 months when the server came up so that no one else had a chance to get to her...lol
You also might find the high priced Experimentation attachments are being bought by richWeapon and Armorsmiths that already have 12 points just to keep them from going to someone else so they can keep the market cornered...not sure if that is true, but i've heard rumors of that on my server as well...
