Amazing so many people actually enjoy pvp in space or the ground for that matter really. This is the worst game for pvp I've ever played, there's no reward/risk involved at all, and it's mind-numbingly boring. Give me more mass and 3 forward firing guns any day.

Why won't they just put the damn Tie Avenger in the game already?

That's it!? I take it there are no other effects of the fins other then (to those who like the look) make it look a little cooler?

THAT'S LAME!!! Rebels get a new heavy X-wing with 180k mass. And are the only ones that can complete the quest for the Ark fighter wich i believe has 120k mass (could be wrong on this) and is the only new multi crew ship.

Not to mention that as it stood before all the Rebel ships had alot more mass then the Imperials andcan equip more weapons. I know the Imperials get the Jedi Starfighter quest and Crimson Interceptor but both put togther have less mass then the Heavy X-Wing!

It's no wonder the servers have soo many more rebels then imperials. The DEV's are shafting the Imperials at every turn.

First off.. as a triple Imp ace I can say Imperials have always had low mass but make up for it in the manuevorability department.

Second, try hitting the enter key a few times, make that rambling easier to read...

Third, the stats on most of tthese ships are nearly identical except for mass. Of course a 3 seater has 125k mass.. it seats 3! Most servers have a higher population of Imperial ACE's than Rebel Ace's

New Rebel Ships: Heavy Z95, Advanced XWing, ARC-170

New Imperial Ships: Heavy TIE, Royal Gurad Intercepter, ETA2 Intercpeter (JSF)

New Nuetral ships: Heavy Scyk, (I forget the name but it's in the same tier as the Advanced XWing/RG TIE), Grievous Fighter <== all three factions can use it.

Do yourself a favor. Know what you're talking about before making a fool of yourself.

To a point, that's true. But more mass = room for a bigger engine = more potential for maneuverability and speed. Yes, a TIE Interceptor is a hell of a lot more maneuverable than a TIE Bomber with the same engine... but I'm sure you could have an engine crafted to compensate for that weakness.

Personally, I'm loving the new Heavy TIE. 96 tons and handles fairly well... not as swift as an Interceptor but a lot more maneuverable than a Bomber... plus plenty of room for firepower and protection.

Actually, it's "swifter" than an Intercepter hands down. with a YPR of 600/600/400 plus a better acceleration rate the Heavy TIE, Royal Guard Intercepter, and ETA2 are far superior to the original Intercepter or Advanced plus these new ships have more mass. BTW, the Greivous, Heavy Scyk, ARC-170 and the quest given nuetral heavy all have these same stats.

pre-ROTW you could setup a TIE Intercepter that was equal to or even superior to an AWing (which has more mass) by simply using the correct re'ed parts like cert4 cap's, cert 2-3 reactors, etc...

Okay I'm not trying to complain that much. I sure don't think I deserved to be called a pore pilot for simply venting my oppinion. Don't get me wrong I love the Jedi Starfighter for its speed and can solo vettes with it. And the Crimson Tie Interceptor is a huge upgrade form the normal interceptor. All i'm really saying is sometimes it would be nice to be able to pack the extra fire-power Rebels pilots can. With larger mass ships and three forward weapons. Thats all I was really trying to say and I'm sorry if that sounds like a complaint.

Now I noticed that some people have posted what looks like three new Imperial ships. Jedi Starfighter, Cimson Guard TIE Interceptor and the Heavy TIE. I have completed the Quests for both the Jedi Starfighter and Crimson TIE Interceptor, So what is the Heavy TIE? And where do you start this quest if it is indeed a quest?

Does anybody know how to get the The new TIE Advaced from the RotW expansion? Is it a quest item or craftable? Any Ideas on to what the stats on it are? I would Appreciate any help you could offer.

I went up against a Red TIE RotW ship today, in my A-wing. The ship balance between these 2 craft are just fine!

We battled for about 6 minutes. I lost, but its only because I got shot 1 time in 6 minutes! We talked afterwards and he said that I had almost crippled his ships weapon systems a few seconds before he got me (I forgot to target his engine or reactor). But anyways I have no idea where it starts. But its a quest from RotW, good luck, it is a fun ship to fight against and It's for some good stats. (Actualy its the first good fight I've had in space in months!)
