Does anybody know how to get the The new TIE Advaced from the RotW expansion? Is it a quest item or craftable? Any Ideas on to what the stats on it are? I would Appreciate any help you could offer.

Just some Shipwright craftable fins to put on your existing Tie Adv. Not a new ship

That's it!? I take it there are no other effects of the fins other then (to those who like the look) make it look a little cooler? THAT'S LAME!!! Rebels get a new heavy X-wing with 180k mass. And are the only ones that can complete the quest for the Ark fighter wich i believe has 120k mass (could be wrong on this) and is the only new multi crew ship. Not to mention that as it stood before all the Rebel ships had alot more mass then the Imperials andcan equip more weapons. I know the Imperials get the Jedi Starfighter quest and Crimson Interceptor but both put togther have less mass then the Heavy X-Wing! It's no wonder the servers have soo many more rebels then imperials. The DEV's are shafting the Imperials at every turn.

Not much of a pilot are you?
Mass is NOWHERE near important as manouverability and/or profile!

QFE. If you are smart profile and manouverability are absolutly the way to go. Would you rather be hit or not hit? Its a must I've got a T/I that i use from time to time in PvP in space and find i can hardly ever get hitin it.

I cannot believe your complaining... the Jedi Starfighter is in my opinion a GREAT ship same with the Crimson Gaurd Interceptor... Yes they do not have the BEST mass, but with RE'd components it does not matter.
Good pilots can manage with a lesser mass, or if need be a lesser manueverability and speed. It should not matter if you are a good pilot, you may have your preference, but you should be able to kick but with any ship.
I like the jedi starfighter more because i can put my 2 max damage 2597 refire rate .24 advanced blasters in it, i used to use em in my KSE, but they work SOOO well in my starfighter. I still love my KSE though, my KSE is great for PVP, i can pack massive shield systems in it with hard hitting weapons and ordance, and GREAt crafted engines....
All i can say is I like every ship, i used the TIE bomber the whole time to get me to ACE it was a perfect ship for doing those hard missions where your getting pounded.

To a point, that's true. But more mass = room for a bigger engine = more potential for maneuverability and speed. Yes, a TIE Interceptor is a hell of a lot more maneuverable than a TIE Bomber with the same engine... but I'm sure you could have an engine crafted to compensate for that weakness.
Personally, I'm loving the new Heavy TIE. 96 tons and handles fairly well... not as swift as an Interceptor but a lot more maneuverable than a Bomber... plus plenty of room for firepower and protection.

I had hoped for a Crimson Tie Advanced. With close to a 100k mass

The ETA2 - the Jedi Starfighter - given to you by our Lord Darth Vader, is the ship you really want.
Stops, starts, and turns on a dime. VERY manueverable. 90k mass. Has an EXTREMELY SMALL profile.
The ship makes me warm and fuzzy inside every time I jump into the cockpit.
