Isn't it amazing how they can keep Jetpacks rare but not Jedi...

So, now that we have come to the agreement that the DWB is very over-powered, which it is, can we get a look at this, Tiggs.

And, I'll have to go back to what I said. Since the balance pass after the CU it has become impossible forthe group of people and I that have craftedmany jetpacks and 5 pieces of Mando armor to even get the first key.

i went down there wen spices were stackable with 300 in both defenses, pikatta pie, 6.7k health fully armoured and was killed by a normal droid in 2 shots, how is this doable? although have not been there since pub 17, but as it wasn't in the notes doubt it has been fixed!

jedi defender tanks... that is the key.

I will be playing DDO and BF2:SF.

do not ever tell me jedi are the key to something! none of our content should require a damned jedi to help us!

I feel your pain, we have similar past experience and we could barely get to first door. But theres a bunch of us going to fanfest so we'll give em an earful about it.

I'm pretty sure they did it early on, and yea with jedi of course, everybody on radiant has at least one jedi.

Of course, what you also have to figure in is that with the changes to the system now, at least one of your 8 peerson strong party is going you have a substantialy reduced combat level as a result of having a non combat mastery.

I guess this is where the "Death" in "Deathwatch" comes in now.

They say that Jedi represent the best the Galaxy has to offer, they are smart, noble, wise, honourable and selfless, an example to us all. Jedi, they say, are like Eagles.
They also say that Bounty Hunters are dishonourable, cowardly killers with no respect for life or honour, who strike from ambush and exist only to kill. We are, they say, like Weasels.
Bounty Hunters are Weasels, Jedi are Eagles ? I can live with that, Eagles may soar but Weasels don't get sucked into Skyhopper jet intakes.

I'm not sure how true this is, but this is what I think.

I dont think the devs are going to rebalance it for a while and are probably going to just ignore it at the time being because of the many posts saying "First full set of Mando armor!" an most servers. I have also seen a ton of pics on imagedump of people walking around in mando armor. Not sure if they were real but the same colors seemed to reappear in most of the pics. The devs probably think thatenough have mando armor and dont want to make it any easier. Now I havnt seen any pieces worn because I know how uber rare mando is and all the pieces, if any, are owned by guilds instead of a single person.

Why would the Dev's Rebalance the DWB? It's perfectly fine the way it is. They are all tough oppenents to get through, and just because your group failsa bit doesnt mean that it needs a rebalance. Keep it where it is dev's, its perfect with its difficulty.

The Radiant DWB team has crafted 3 jetpacks since the CU went live, so it's not impossible.

LOL, let me guess, it required several finished Jedi templates that included Master Defender?

The fact 90% of the high end content in this game Requires jedi (DWB, Avatar, Necrosis etc) is total BullShi!t. It should be Very difficulty for a group of normal people but extremely doable, to require jedi is ludicrious.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- I support NO DECAY.It should be run like EQ . No 20k price cap on the bazar and everyone can craft. Its has worked for 7 years on everquest and there is no decay plenty of money and no crazy prices.

Decay is only good for crafteres and bad for everyone else.

Tried DWB yesterday. Our group of 8 had 3 jedis and the rest of us were CL 80 (riflemen and tanks). Had trouble gettin to the first room, several got killed. Clone and retry. 2nd, 3rd and 4th tries went slightly better. With the best attempt we got to the 2 room and then the security system resetted and all mobs respawned on us and we pretty much got wiped out. Jedis fared little better than the rest of us, but when their force ran out, they too got shot to pieces. Level 92-93 SBDs and Black suns can 1 hit kill, shoot through the walls, always go for the riflemen/healers disregarding the tanks, etc.

Little more of that balancing stuff would be nice. Not all people want to play jedis.
