it was almost a week before my old man came. i was fighting the boar for the hero quest. i though "man, ive waited long enough, i dont want to wait another day or two for the sith". but alas, 3 hours later when i was about to go into the sennex cave for the other hero of tat quest i was attacked. then the sith camp i had to "further investigate" was outside coronet and stuck under a house

so do you think its best to hang around a player city, ie: a city that has been formed from players and not a city like for instance BESTINE (npc city). at the moment i'm waiting outside my house in the middle of the desert on tattooine, the nearest city of any kind ( player or npc ) is nearly 3000m away... anyway thx for all your advice you are giving me... its very reassuring

Another good idea would be not to wait at all. Do whatever you usually do in day-to-day Star Wars Galaxies life, keep yourself moving around and performing tasks, going on missions and what not. Not only will this make the wait easier to cope with, some suggest that it increases the chances of the visit being sooner.

Ok, I took all your advice and got on with my dayly business doing some piket missions on dant. Then the oldman came to see me almost straight away (yay). Now that i've got the force crystal from him I know that I must wait for the sith guys to attack me, how many of these guys will spawn, is it two, three or four? Also, what with the recent changes in the way the rebel faction system works, do I need to be an active rebel combatant or can Igo on leave as a rebel, for the sith to attack and then carry on to the path of a jedi. The reason I ask this, is because I'm fed up of getting a laser wupped up my ass everytime I stroll past a stormie (it's a hassle I could do without when my priorities is to do the FSquest)....
