I am getting a little of bored of SWG right now and this isn't really going to make me stay. Also other people maybe visiting and wanting to join will look at this and just hit the X button very fast... It is nice that there are other sites that help us... But when I get home from school I don't want to log on and see Friday Feature: December 10, 2004 - Fan Sites. When I say this I am being serious, I saw it and went from sitting up straight, to slouch down. It is just that bad. I lost all energy seeing it. Please Devs... Come up with something a little more exciting... I remember the fun days when JTL wasn't out and I waited every Friday to see what the new species was going to be... I got beta before the devs posted it as a friday feature!

Devs: That will be fixed in the combat revamp!!
Players: yay!
*7 months pass*
Devs: We are making it into the combat upgrade, and delaying it...
Players: doh
*4 months pass*
Players: Come on...
Devs: dont worry, we will bring the correspondents to SoE and *show* them our work! Then they will tell you!
Players: Yay!!
*correspondents leave and come back*
Correspondents: We saw it, but we can not talk about it for a while...But we guess by next week or so!
*3 months pass*
In those three months, we have seen friday features that have been little more then regular updates that are supposed to be done by the PR staff...All the while, a combat balance that has been in the works for over a year, and that everyone is waiting on, has not had more then two short articles on it....
*sigh*...Yes, I am agitated...

Honestly Tiggs, this is a weak excuse for a friday feature. This feature may have been useful for new players and people who didnt know about some of these sites (or even that there was page with links), but to players who have been around for awhile this is useless. I usually have nothing but good things to say to you Tiggs since you do a good job of communicating to the players but this is weak. We havent had a feature for what seems like almost a month and this is what they scrapped together for us? How about a Friday Feature on the upcoming combat balance. Let us know anything (that you guys are allowed to speak on) about whats being planed, whats going on with the alpha testing, etc...

Didn't you know that SWG reals stands for Stop Wait and Grind. Communication from Devs has long since Stopped. the players continue to Wait for something promised to be fixed since virtually the release of the game. The only thing to do is Grind.
grind to master combat proffession -----> so that ------> you can grind 8 million FS point ------> so that you can become a Padawan -------> so that you can grind Jedi skills ---------------> so that you grind on all non-Jedi players for FRS
Now if you are playing as a non-Jedi in the Starwars Galaxies - An Empire Divided Jedi Wars understand that you have avery clear purpose and place in the PvP element, no it's not the GCW they removed that hindrance a long time ago and finally got rid of the last relics of bases when the broke vulenrabilities, no our purpose is to be FRS points for the Jedi. You know instead of the whackingof huurtrons they whack on us for the FRS grind. Yea let me spend all that time getting buffed and buying the expensive food so I can shuttle into Theed or Coronet and get hacked on by a Jedi gank squads, woot woot there's a ride I want to get on over and over again.

OMG people. Lighten up. What do you expect from a Friday Feature? They have to post it every Friday. I'd like to think that they have better things to do than to constantly develop new content just to post on this site in an attempt to please a bunch of complainers that cannot EVER be pleased. lol What a bunch of glums. I sometimes find myself drawn into your world of "nothing is ever good enough" and have to take a break from these forums. Please Tiggs, give me to power to stay positive here and may all my posts be constructive!

Yes, this will be replacing it. This is the only Friday feature for today.

Between now and JTL is where I come in. Right out of the gate, I’ll be working with the community to develop plans for the Combat Balance and post them on the site; we’ll do a few features and I will continue to post updates.
You know just a thought
