--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

When doing your pilot missions for the various pilot trainers if you mix your reward item with your space looted components when you go to a chassis dealer to sell the components the reward items always appear at the top of the list.

Tuesday tip, or "work-around" for bad coding?

You decide....

There is no reason that BH marks need to spawn at every possible WP on a given map. Put 100 *VALID*WP'sscattered around the map for each planet, randomly assign the mark to one of those of 100, and call it good. That's perfectly within the "limits of the technology".

Do you have a little known command you use all the time?

A cool place to visit?

Tracking a Bounty across water

Today's tip is for all of you Bounty Hunter's out there and it comes from Katalisha.

When tracking NPC Bounties, sometimes the waypoint spawns in the water

HERE IS HOW TO AVOID MARKS SPAWNING IN WATER:

  • When you arrive at the planet where your mark is hiding out, look at your planetary map (CTRL-V).

  • If the mark's waypoint is over water - go make a cup of coffee (after you send out your seeker droid).

  • Come back after you've made your coffee to find the waypoint has moved several hundred meters

  • Go kill your mark.

  • Loot your mark.

  • Drink the coffee.

Do you have a useful tip that you want to share with your fellow Star Wars Galaxies players? E-mail it to SWGTips and if we select the tip we'll post it as the Tuesday Tip and give you the credit! Send us the character name and server you'd like us to include if we post the tip.

worst tip ever....a shiny, polished cow chip is still a cow chip....a broken mechanic is still a broken mechanic....get it fixed...alot of other quest related wp's would be fixed along with this.

/sarcasm on

Come on now, that is not good enough for the 'l33t d0udes' and their super farming.

They should all work 100% of the time, spawn in player cities with shuttle and outposts, and also lay down and die since they already stealth nerfed the "boss NPCs' health from 30K to no more than 20K I noticed. Not to mention 75% of the NPCs are bugged and dont hit for more than 33 damage.

"I win" FTW!

/sarcasm off

(kind of funny nobody complained much about the NPC mark spawns post-cu, until they started being the sources of loot)

Here's a tip...

Player cities don't get any revenue from tickets for their shuttle bought from a starport (via round trip). So always buy your tickets from the city's local shuttle terminal to support the player city.

If you think your profession is broken, what can you do about it? Well you could possibly show up on the forums, troll around and generally make yourself look stupid, or you can follow this simple and very effective tip from the Ranger and Squad Leader community.

Be patient.

Thank you for your time.

and that's supposed to be a tip? it's more like: "we don't wanna reprogram it, so live with it" thing
you want a real tip? get all BH together scream on the forums for a fix...what about that?
Really lame this time TH, either give us real tips or leave it be.

Tip: as BH use your first-strike ability by aiming or using snipershot if you have it. A good attack can do up to 2300 damage, so don't waste it by charging your bounty. Don't forget startleshot so the bounty can't do anything, not even heal...works best with Jedi.
