Thread: I <3 sorting! If you want the new items you pick up at the bottom of your inventory, don't sort.

How do we set our inventory to not sort. i never sorted mine and now it sorts all my stuff by alphabetical order, I HATE IT. I went to make a factory run of some droid parts last night and split my resourses to throw it into the hopper when i crafted the scematic, all the resourses went to the bottom of my inventory. i didn't close the screen i just alted out of the screen to walk the 10 meters tofactoryalted back they were sorted again, i dont want my stuff sorted.

Date I'm pretty sure is close to what we originally had. What confused me though is why sometimes when you clone, the whole inventory got rearranged.

I HATE it. Good job devs. Way to "fix" what doesn't need fixing. Half this game has been broken since launch, and you spend your time on this?!?!?! W T F

Hmmm. If you can't turn the sorting off then it is definitely going to be a big problem. It would be fine to sort the items once and then turn it off.


For the system to remember the order of items in your pack is fine, but to have it always sort by a category and not be able to turn it off is going to be unworkable. I really hope they have an on/off switch or at the least let us know if we can edit a file in our profiles to return it to its old behavior.

i do not like the autosorting system.


I liked having my base inventory presorted and then any new items looted, picked up...etc etc at the bottom of my inventory.
