More Skillpoints: No. Just no. Others have explained why.
Languages: YES! That would be VERY Star Warsy, and would go a long way to cutting down on spamming hopefully. They should enhance the language system more as well, with a special language only smugglers and bounty hunters can learn: huttese. Learning the normal languages should also require some minor questing as well, you shouldnt be able to just grab them off the first player who wanders up, that way there's a real incentive for people to get a translator droid.
Or how about you have to spend a certain amount of time with a species to learn the language, and the more time spent, the better you're able to comprehend and speak it? Similar to how it is in real life.

no to extra skill points but i think they should change the skill point system so no mater what 3 elite proffs you want you can get them instead of having to do say ws as and de

I'd vote no on more skill points. Sure there are times that I'm like ... Ghad if I just had ONE more point. But that's just how the game is designed. If they raised it to 300, we'd all still want more.
I really like the idea of requiring skill points to learn languages. However, it would need to be implemented so that players couldn't by pass by just using tells and group chat.

I disagree...You SHOULD be able to bypass it with tells and groupchat, it's no fun if you're a wookiee and 2 people on your server understand what you're saying..that would decrease intereaction and overall fun IMO.

I wish they would let us surrender FS skills to add to jedi skills.

No they should not raise skill points. I do like the ideas of having skill points for languages or buy a translater droid. Also professions like merchant and politician should cost way less skill points because neither of those professions provide a logical and fun playstyle that would be enjoyable for a main character as opposed to an alt character.

If they increased the skill points, people would spend the extra ones on more combat skills, futher dividing the rift between uber and average combat players.... OR, the average player would then spend his extra points on crafting skills, making an average player able to make his own armor... hurting the player economy, and the state of the game.

As the game stands NO! But who knows what will happen when the legendary Combat Revamp comes out.
As for making languages a skill point based thing it just seems like a lot off effort to make the game less accessable to new players.
I would, however, like to see something done with Merchant as mentioned above. Perhaps the whole proffession could be made changed to be like the pilot skills and cost no points... maybe Master Merchants will be outraged by this but it doesn't quite add up to me that you spend the same number of skill points to place a few items on a vendor as you do to become say a master Teras Kasi Monk. It would be a huge benefit to almost everyone... crafters could add another crafting proffesion, combat classes could sell all their loot and dedicated merchants would free up a bunch of points.
Only problem is when you look at it from SOEs point of view, if everyone had Master Merchant then the size of the database could potentially baloon massively; on top of a probable drop in revenue as people close their alt merchant accounts.
Maybe there is a compromise of some kind /shrug.

Lol as above - a simple answer no !
We should not have the ability to be everything all at once. The amount of skillpoints we have available as is, means you have to actually think about what skill boxes to get. Increase skillpoints and become for example,
master brawler, master pike, master tka, master fencer , master rifle, master doc .. see the problem ?
(yes i know, heaviliy exagerated).

250 skill points is enough, just make passive skills only 1 skill point to learn, agressive skills points 3 points and keep hybrid classes at 5.

or what about like making stuff like merchant like 1 skillpoint per box
because i think you shouldnt have to give up a profession so you
can sell stuff
================================================
I believe combat professions should be like 1 skillpoint per box
because I think you shouldn't have to give up a profession so you
can kill stuff.
50% of all new business fail in the first 12 months. Selling stuff is
a profession. Whereas hunting, you go out pay for a piece of paper
saying you can hunt. Or join the military and after BASIC training
you go out and kill stuff.
