Yes you can delegate your FP to another Smuggler. But I hope you are ranked Colonel or else your delegation rate is going to SUCK.

Since Faction Points from a recruiter are around 100 fp for 10,000 credits - PLUS the addition of the Delegation Rate (which at Colonel is you lose 1.18 fp for every 1 delegated), I'd say you will not find anybody selling for less than 12k/100fp. No smuggler in their right mind would sell at near or next to near no-profit (which in my opinion is anything below 12k/100fp).

You definitly will NOT find it being sold for anything less than 10k/100fp - and if you do, report that person as they are either exploiting a bug - or don't get their FP from a recruiter (i.e. - grinding faction missions to get their FP to sell - so they really truly aren't FP Sellers).

Is there a good way to grind faction points as a pilot? I know you get some for going through the missions/training, but are there more faction points out there to get. The reason I ask is because I am a Master Artisan/Architect/Shipwright without many skill points leftover for combat. I'm an imperial and would like to get a walker and increase my rank. Since I have so few combat skills it would be great if I could just go around kicking butt as a pilot to gain faction points that way since I'm such a weakling on the ground.

You get faction points for all kills of the opposite faction IF you go overt.

Best way to do it is in deep space. Get to master, go overt, go to deep space. Any damage you take out there is repaired on transit out. Ships out there are high tiered and give a lot of faction and Prestiege.

Enjoy.

Kessel works good too. All tier IV and V out there so you get loads of fp fast. Also, the big ships (gunboats, imp shuttles) give like 100 fp! just remeber the risk you are taking for the reward, people will be out there looking for people just like you, and you are overt!

Heck, I usually go overt before doing my Tier 3 missions, which is killing rebels, that adds up too, I am sure not as quickly as Kessel or Deep Space, but I dont mind, since I have to keep doing the stupid tier 3 missions, over and over and over and over, etc.
