how do i gain imp or reb faction points. i can't seem to get any. i have gain a lot of townfolk points and lost a lot of thug points but i really want to join a faction. can anyone help?

get delivery missions from a mission terminal of the faction you wish to join, get ones with about 80 or less rewards thats wont go out the city. You'll get 5 faction points each time you finish one and you can get 2 at once. For rebel faction a good place is Anchorhead on Tatooine and Imperial faction try Bestine. Don't know where to get the missions on other planets.

is there away to gain Faction Points quicker though? the 5 points per mission is so slow.

You could always try destroy missions. You'll almost always encounter a red, and possibly 2. And for that 1.5km run and putting your life on the life for 30 -45 minutes you know how many points youll get?! 10!

Yes 10! But for a 3 minute run across town you get 5. I did 3 destroy missions in 2 hours alone (low marks skills at the time) and then the rest of the way to 200 faction in about an hour with delivery missions.

But don't fear. The missions only get HARDER (destroy) when you join a side. Instead of master thieves and smugglers, you can go toe to toe with rebel/imperial elite. Thought thief was hard? Try a Spec Force General. Or even general troopers takea large group (or small, well trained) group to take down.

yea , get in a group , do destroy missions.. there nearly impossible alone now.

**for all those that are about to flame me i said NEARLY** even the newbie missions are hard alone.

i do wish they would get the difficulty levels right.

How and who can I sell faction points to? Can I sell them to other players?
