For me its the badges I have been doing the professions for fun now instead for jedi. JTL is also a reason for me.

What keeps me going? Well, my guild, though still small, has a lot of good people in it that are fun to play with. There are still some things I haven't done yet. I'm finishing up mastering one profession, then I'm changing to another (not for holo grind reasons, I opened my first holo and did that, but my second holo was full of crap with a profession I definitely DID NOT want to play, so I gave up on that, lol). My guild has teamed up with a couple of other guilds (Imp guilds Project GHOST and Aes Sedai and reb guild CID) in our city of Lost Mesa (Lok, Radiant server), to role play and have fun with our guild war. So far, it's breathed new life into this game for me.
Try hooking up with some role playing guilds, or (since you're in one) become more active inyour guildand try to arrange stuff with other guilds. Don't be afraid to try new and maybe unconventional ideas, you never know what you're going to find that just might breathe new life into your game for you
Good luck, and if you do say good-bye, sorry this didn't work out for you.

Well, I tried to play Final Fantasy XI. The user interface aloneis enough to make you swear off of MMORPG's completely.
I wonder if World of Warcraft will be coming out during my lifetime?

Needless to say after being hunted killed, and griefed, i still find playing my jedi fun. Weather it be just going out to watch me swing my glow stick or use my uber animal scare force power i still have fun despite the neverending road to knight.

after nine months man of a slow grind (Yes I suck for the grind -- changed my template now 5 times)--- All I can say is a crap load of Mountain Dew.. Sweet Tarts and alot of movies and music and Team Speak... if I didnt have friends in game playing I would have quit long ago.
Jedi grind is far worse then anything else in this game, I have done all 32 profs-- (not shipright) and 100 badges-- I think I can safely say that it is.
I have been playing since beta, I have spoke to shrubs and walked to my Bh marks for 4 and 5 hours...only to find them gone or bugged. Short of those, jedi is like watching paint dry.
HEY I LOVE IT WOOT!

Since day one .....not day one launch I am talking about the one special day back in 77 when Star Wars hit the big screen....I wanted to wave a lightsaber and do good deeds.
That and the friends I have met in this game

Just finished my template, and it was well worth it. Many lates nights, pepsi, and camel lights. My motivation to be a Jedi kept me going, and my good friends. And knowing the grind is over !
