Lately I've been questioning why I play the game anymore: I have everything that I need, more money than I can spend,
can solo just about everything (which means there are no groups ever forming besides solo groups), my PA is a speck
of what it used to be, the game feels like it's been abandoned, the quests are boring, tedious, and mostly bugged, and
the next two published are for a profession that I'm not even interested in.
I pretty much have to force myself to log in to play now.
I used to love the game back when it first came out and in beta, now I get back from a 6 month break to find nothing new
in the game and only half the people still playing. Now I'mwondering why people even play the game, because all that I
see now are people grinding in solo groups on Dantooine or standing there AFK advertising their shop.
What keeps you going in this game?

I experienced that on Starsider too. I just switched servers and it was good as new. Maybe you should try a new server for a bit.

Same here, jump server. I was about to quit, then I jumped. And bang, like a brand new game.

I leveled on Naritus when i got bored, now back to Corbantis. Starting on a new server can be really fun. It's hard to remember how it is starting with 250 credits and a melon to your name, oh yeah and now ahelper droid.

Which server has the most group involvement? Getting tired of solo groups everywhere.
It used to be easy to find a group on any planet, now they all seem abandoned.

On Bria I am dedicated to building and acquiring items for my museum the "Museo de Ostium Vepres." I also started an art museum where I have ondisplay every piece of art / painting that has been available on Bria. I am also planning some player art displays in the near future.
My PA, the Servants of the Shrub, also keeps things interesting on my server. Check us out at www.oftheshrub.com.
Also, come by and check out the Museo and the Art Museum on Bria!

Well, I tried to play Final Fantasy XI. The user interface aloneis enough to make you swear off of MMORPG's completely.
I wonder if World of Warcraft will be coming out during my lifetime?

Take a few months off. I felt the same way 3 months ago so I tried making a new character but havin 250 creds and a melon sucks when no one wants to group with you. So I cancelled. Played all the other games I played before SWG was launched along with all the games I got after SWG but never played. I got bored with them too because I missed the interaction with people. So I came back thinking I would just be bored out of my mind and quit again but I am actually having fun again. My advice is don't try to be uber. I was a TKA/Doc and there was no challenging content. I had more money than I could spend. PvP sucked (think that was my fualt though). But most of all, I spent all my time checking factories/gathering resources so I could be more uber and make more money. That will ruin anyones fun. Now I'm collecting stupid crap to put in my house and at the same time I'm workin on a new profession (sometimes I'm not sure which one but there's plenty that I havent done). My final word of advice is, go try Lineage 2, you'll be back here in no time realizing how good we have it. Oh, one more thing.... LOG OUT SOMETIMES!!!!!! SWG is not life, at least not until you forget about what life is. That may not effect you, but I know it does some people. Limitations are the key.
(DISCLAIMER) This could all change in a few weeks when I have ran out of skill points and things to do or just get bored again.

the reason the game isnt getting more fun and is boringto play is simple
Uber armor
Uber buffs
Defence stacking to unreasonable limits
Unbalenced combat professions including jedi
Topped off with super foods drinks and spice
GCW npcs that die like kreetle's
No reason to group you can solo most everything yourself
No reason to team play
No reason to help or accossiate with others
This is a multiplayer SOLO game now !
About all you can do nowis brag about how fast you can kill a mob
Sad
