Thread: Sabacc Anyone?

I posted something similar in the ranger forums a while ago.
Rangers can build an uber camp called a High Tech Field Base... in this camp is a little round checked table... surely this can be made into a mini game ?? Such a little touch would add such a huge amount to the game !

I agree...but those new tables should be made available in cantinas and hotels across the planets...

I know we aren't ACTUALLY smugglers even though our title might say so...but we aren't gamblers either. I doubt more smugglers gamble than any other profession.
Jeesh, SOE has managed to make us gamblers, drug dealers, weapon and armor tinkerers and underworld contacts...just about everything BUT a smuggler. Why in the world do they choose to give us a title that fits anyone else as easily as it does us?

Of course, if they did it would have to be just 1rules set, and then people would have to learn how to play it, causing all the jedi to say its too hard and they keep losing money. So the devs would "Upgrade" it, changing Sabacc to the same game (but with Star Warsy Cards, and THAT'S what makes it Star Warsy) as Texas Hold'em Poker, cause thats all the kids know these days neway

If they implement Sabacc, it had better have the same rules and cards that it's supposed to have according to the books and whatnot. None of the internet versions I've ever seen have the cards that are supposed to be in the deck. To get a good idea of what I'm talking about, read the books "Hutt Gambit" and "Rebel Dawn" they're both part of the Han Solo trilogy and each one explains a bit about sabaac.

Just a random stupid question...
Whats the difference between sabacc and pazaak?
Been playing kotor to much, beaten every gambler in the game....its just so fun!
