The reason that they still say "a reward has been placed in your backpack" is because they have never corrected the verbage from the old versions of the theme park. For example, with the Rebel and Jabba's park (and presumably the Imperial) you used to get a reward after EVERY mission. It was something small and useless to most people, Jabba's gave a crappy weapon after each of the missions, with a slightly better reward for each of the final missions for each of the NPC's, and the Rebel missions gave things like droid batteries, or loudspeakers, or broken sandstats (whatever the heck that is, I don't know)...


They never updated the verbage after they "re-invented" the theme parks and revamped the loot drops a few months back, but rest assured that there is no magical imperial loot that you are missing because you don't have the proper back pack...


And the /conv with corpses still worked about a month and a half ago when I first attempted the Imp Theme park, but it is very possible that they have fixed this bug. It's a bug that I discovered for myself quite by accident last year when my mission contact at the Rebel Theme park got caught up in my flame cone while I was being attacked by some aggro creatures nearby. That was in the days when we had to walk everywhere, and I was desperate not to have to walk 1000m back to the base to re-run the mission. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked.. lol.

Thanks for the clarification! All of this information will make our gaming go a lot smoother. All three of us have limited game time (work, family commitments) and it's no fun to waste time on buggy situations.

If you are still having trouble with this you can type /conv from a safe distance or even after he is dead & it will still work.


I'm going through the themepark right now as a groupoffour alts total. They have zero combat skills & need to assist each other just to get through the missions. I have the alts target the leader (which I control manually) & then I have the alts all running the followingmacro, named Assist



/assist;


/follow;


/pause 2;


/macro Assist



This will have them attack any target you attack instead of standing around while you get you butt kicked. Players with good combat skills will probably not need this kind of help, but if your chars are all crafters, entertainers, or healers, it comes in handy. It still helps to get buffs, armor, & the highest weapon you can still use though...I tried the second mission without them & it still worked, but all four chars suffered a death to get it done.
