Thread: The Emperor’s Theme Park

After reading through the boards and some of the guides (swg.allakhazam.com and swg.stratics.com) I still have a couple questions I hope can be answered by folks who have completed the missions.



This is our first time doing a theme park grouped.Does each one of us have to take the missions and receive different spawned way points and complete the mission for each player?Seems kind of silly to do every mission 3 times so everyone gets the badge and rewards.


To receive mission rewards do you need the “Imperial backpack” that cost 1500 faction points?There is conflicting info on this point and most posts on the matter are pretty old.


The most popular and detailed guide (written by TK608 and available at multiple sites) indicates that some NPCs you are supposed to talk to may target you.You then have to run around clicking peace till the NPC disengages to be able to talk to the NPC.Is this still the case?The guide was written over a year ago and I have read that there were some “fixes” to missions since then.Not sure if these fixes addressed the issue


TK608’s guide also indicates that the final Emperor missions are bugged.When you go to him he has nothing for you even though Vader tells you to go talk to the emperor.Is it still bugged?I would hate to not be able to complete the Theme Park.

I am on the 3rd mission from the Inquisitor (2nd guy) and there is an NPC that targets me when I am supposed to talk to him. 4 times of doing that damn mission and he always gets killed.

Man that seems like a pain!So you have to go back, get the mission again, and truck back out thereevery time???

Yes, each person needs to run their own missions to get the rewards and the badges (they are very easy missions.. no need for a group).


You don't need to have an imperial back pack equipped (never heard that one before).


MOST IMPORTANTLY: If you are supposed to converse with the NPC and he attacks you, go ahead and kill him. A little known trick is to target the corpse after you have dispatched him, and type "/conv"... you will get the message to return to the person who gave you the mission to complete the mission. This works every time, you would be surprised how helpful a corpse can be if you just take a minute to converse with him . There are people who have come up with complicated macro's which incorporate running back and forth spamming "peace" etc... but all of that is not needed.

One other thing...have you experienced the "A reward has been placed in your backpack"? I've read some accounts that everyone gets that message but only people with the "imperial baclkpack" (1500 FP cost) get the reward. Others check and noothing is in their backpack!

To the best of my knowlege, the theme park is no longer bugged. I just re-completed it two days agowith one of my characters, no troubles at all. Fourth time I've done it altogether, third after the Big Fix that unbugged it.


As far as the you-need-a-special-backpack-to-get-rewards thing goes...eh?!?! I've been playing since the game was released, and I have NEVER heard of such a silly thing. Someone's yanking your chain.

Thanks everyone for your posts! I though the imperial back pack thing was pretty strange myself. It came from posts at the end of one of the guides. Several people were complaining they weren't getting the mission rewards. They would get a message "A reward has been placed in your Backpack" and there would be nothing. others were saying you had to have 1500 fp and/or this backpack that costs 1500 fp. Glad to hear this isn't the case.

Well I have the same problem with the mission from the inquisitor, the slicer runs towards me when I come close and I always kill him, haven't tried the /conv b4 though. But I was told by some guy that my Thug FP had to be positive to be able to talk to the guy, is that true? I have -4890 in Thug FP . And I can never find enough townspeople to get a positive, or does anyone know where I can find a bunch?

There is no final Emperors mission

The Theme Park is done after the last Vader mission (the Emperor is before Vader), you get some reward from him and the badge.


To my knowledge the /conv with corpses bug has been fixed. At least didn't work with another mission I tried it (perhaps still works for the themepark)


And that you need the imperial Backpack? Well thats completely new to me as well

You don't have to /conv with the corpse. From pretty far away, 50 meters or so, when alive you can use the /conv command on the live body, and you'll get a message to return to the mission giver. At least, you could when I did it immediately after they added new loot to the parks.

Unfortunately they have nerfed the /conv from 50m... it won't work until you are something like 7-15m from the NPC, and by that point you are aggro'd. However, I am pretty sure that /conv with a corpse still works.
