Thread: Aurilian Plant Care

Having been watching this thread and my own plant i am led to speculate that as the plant grows through its stages it need more water and resources. young plants start at lower water and nutrients and get higher as they grow through their stages. If this is true it would be fair to say to people with new plants dont feed it for a few days, let it get a bit drier and lose some its nutrients and see if it grows. Any thoughts?

It would seem knowing the cycles how it updates throughout the 24... err 23 hours of a day is the key. And server reboots might have a effect on it.

Okay, I've had my plant since about a day after the village came out.

My plant is still a Small Aurilian Plant. It hasn't evolved into a medium yet.

I've been experimenting on its water and nutrients, but now I am giving it very little waterlike 1 every 2-3 daysand about 1-2 hits of nutrients each day.

So far it's,growing "very slowly",butits health seems to get better each day. Its at"perfect condition" now.

Istoped experimenting about a day ago and am going to just keep it at this to see if it will evolve to medium. The water is like somewhere around: dry arid or below normal, and the nutrients are around: normal, to above normal. Anything higher seems to wilt the plant and cause it health problems.

I think before it will evolve to the next stage, it needs to be "full of life" or higher for5 days or morewithout going below full of life or wilting.

This is not good at all. The large plant is a real **edit**. In 1.5 days I am down to near death/withering. Trying some random settings at top end of the scale now and hope something works.

I haven't kept a daily log, but here is my plant as of this morning (10:00am est):

Day 6
Health: Perfect Condition
Growth Rate: Normal
Water Level: Below Normal
Nutrient Level: Low

I've kept the water leve and nutrient level at Low/Below Normal/Normal the entire time. Water Level dropped to Dry over the weekend and I gave it some more and Health jumped to Perfect Condition from Full of Life.

I've been using the following resources:

Talusian Vegetable Greens (Oega)(DR: 827, FL: 944, PE: 946, OQ: 1000)

Endorian Water Vapor (Orvedi) (DR: 903, OQ: 993)

It will just shrink back to the medium size right? It better not just die 2 days after making it to the large size!

Btw,my medium plan is at perfect condition and slowly growing, so I should be at the large size in the next couple days.

Growth: slow, Nutrients: very low, Water: moist

I am maintaining my philosophy that any growth rate besides wilting is good. I find that if I mess with it too much trying to get a higher growth rate, it starts wilting and my overall growth isslower even if I eventally find a higher growth rate setting. My plant is 8 days old now and nearly to the large cycle. Slow, steady and consistent wins the race

....Its dead. Not even 2 days after it made stage 3. I had hoped it might go down to stage 2 first, but no.

Well, I've had my plant sitting in my inventory for about a week and a half now, waiting for some kind of consensus on what the proper care techniques are (better safe than sorry). I just dropped itin aplace of honor at my crib on Naboo. Yeah, that's right. This gawdawful plant is sitting at the center of the main room in a large Naboo house surrounded by lights, go figure. Anyhow, I drain it of water and nutrients and put in high OQ stuff at normal levels. I figure it's the least likely setting to make the thing die overnight. I'll post tomorrow on it's progress.

Hey everyone,

I've been continuously keeping my plant at above normal nutrients and normal water level. Both the water and the nutrients are High OQ (around 950). The health has been continuosly at Full of Life or Perfect, and the growth rate has always been at Slow. If i add more water to make it moist, it seems to slow the growth rate to very slow, so i've been content to leave the growth rate at slow with normal water level. My plant is now at phase 3, (i've had it for just over a week now). I'll post if/when I manage to get some fruit from it.
