What are some of the best names youve seen. Ones that made u think 'Man, I wish i wouldve of thought of that one. Or names that sounds like a Star Wars name. I liked...
Stinger Wolfen (Not really a Star Wars name, but great for a weaponsmith)
Ussoslizzot (Great for a Trandoshan)
Also rate my name, Lecim Barkar, from (worst)1-10(best) on the fit for Star Wars meter. I really want to know what people think of it, be brutally honest. Also put your name up for rating, if you want.

I've seen some really good, well thought out names while playing. On the other hand, though ( and I know the game is supposed to be fun for everyone, being creative and all) some of you people use names that make it look like you're realated to Luke or Han, or some other famous character. This may seem like a stupid argument, but didn't the game come out with a disclaimer saying something to the effect that no name coming close to that of an actual Star Wars universe character would be allowed? I actually met a guy who named his character Borsk Fe'yla (pardon me, I think I may have spelled the last name wrong! Who cares! lol!) The guy wasn't even Bothan--I'm Bothan, I think I know what one of my own species looks like!
All complaining aside, I think it would be great if the team over at Lucas would put out a list of acceptable spellings, syntax, and such for names of species other than Human. I named my character Mott Nosirrag. I don't know if it's an acceptable Bothan name, but it works for me.

"You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!"
I think a good name is the one I use:
Dre' Swampsurfer
Qualities:
1. Dre' is short and easy for others to tip and remember how to spell.
2. Swampsurfer rolls off of your toung like Skywalker.
3. Swampsurfer - I am from Louisiana (a swampy area in the United States)
5. Swampsurfer - I like to surf the Internet
What do you think?
I was actually given this name randomly generated for my entertainer/medic:

What better way of defining yourself as a crazy person eh?
Barmonium Barcode

MYTHOXXUS - is a character name that I have used for years now. I was actually inspired by some of the Everquest God name, such as Bertoxxolus, or some others that were close to that. I found the pronunciation to be kind of unusual and out of the norm for the english language to it appealed to me. The prefix Mythos of course , coming from Myths, legends, lore, or fables, and the suffix from the Everquest Gods names inspirations. Potentially maybe it struck me as somewhat greek sounding. I found the name to be fitting for the Zabrak race, but that is just a humble opinion. I know a lot people in game, find it to be a little complex. But it does make a neat sound when pronouncing it.
But I was thinking about alien names and it seems to me that there would possibly be more repetition of vowels in them possibly due to the difference in their genetic make up, and the possibilities of ease of pronunciation.
Like for instance for a Gungan: Geedgongon - Lednognognog - Dimnibnib
(I imagine more of a gutteral pronunciation with a head nodding in cadence with the syllables. I know it sounds sort of silly to our eyes and ears, but to them it could very much be common place, but that is just a for instance.)
I've used the same name for years in the Star Wars related RPG universe.. so it was natural I moved here when my beta app was accepted. ![]()
