My character is a black female and I came up with the name by making up a play on the Shakespearan character Othello who by the way happens to be a Moor.

I put allot of thought into picking my name. I picked it a month before the game was set to release. My name has a very personel meaning to it.

My father flew f94 in the Korean War. The codename for F94s is Starfire. I needed a name that went with starfire. I was thinking along the lines of just calling myself Jet Starfire but then it hit me. I remembered Jecht from FFX. You got to admit the name is extremely Star Wars-y. Yet it has personel meaning to it.

One thing that made me mad probably a month into playing the game I met a newbe (cdef, original marksman clothing, same hairstyle with color, and same glasses with color). Looked like I was looking into a mirror. Guess what his name was Six'guns Starfire. I told him hay you stold my name or we must be related (putting a little rping to the game). He comes back with "Nay tis my name." Oh my god, go back to Everquest where you belong.

I would love to hear Princess Leah say "Oh my heart thus swayith to thine couragous Rebellion." I bet a mil that Star Wars wouldn't be as popular as it is now. Oh sorry had to vent!

This may be tootin' my own horn, but I think I chose a good Star Wars Galaxy-type name for my Bothan character. It is Talon Veyk.

From the thread description I thought yiu was supposed to suggest names you've seen other players using that looked cool, not go "no, no mine's best". Anyway here are my names.

Ithacus Elshadan : Male, Human, Bounty Hunter : Tempest (WhenI used it on beta somebody said it was a cool name, plus its been my RPG name for about 13 years)

Jarylle : Male, Rodain, Musician, Entertainer, Armoursmith :Eclipse(not really sure if it's Rodain sounding but I like it)

Wistrik : Male, Rodian, Droid Engineer, Carbineer, Artisan : Starsider ( it is appropriate for a Rodian name as I checked by using the random name generator to see if it was viable)

Your name about 8/10 cause you get soem absoulutley bizzare ones from the random generator.

I made a character for wanderhome that I was just going to mess around with a little bit, when I got tired of my main. So Chop'Chop Masta-Onion was born as a brawler and then trained as an entertainer. If you ever played Parappa the Rapper you'll recognize the name. Haven't received any hate about it like I was expecting but I guess if Jar Jar is a star wars name then Chop Chop could be too.
