I'm going there tonight and had two questions:
1. if someone in your group dies, do they clone in the corvette and can continueor is that the end for them? If they can continue, can you take all the time you want?
2. I have gone to Lt. Sabel(sp?) in Bestine and Colonel Darkstone and both say I am busy with something else, and to finish that before I can get anything from them? I am not doing anything else, and have no other missions in my datapad. Is this a bug?
(also posted this in another Vette post.)
When you die on the corvette, you will clone on a special room there. The time limit is always 60 minutes. The problem your having with theticket givers is that you may have spoken with one of the other corvette ticket givers, this quest doesn't show up in the datapad. Try going back to all the ticket givers you may have spoken with and cancel the mission (if that's possible, I haven't checked for sure but they should give you that option).
I am having some problems finding the evidence for the reb assassination, there doesn't seem to be any kind of container in the tusken fort other than magseals. I know I need to look in the genosian caves, but I did, and I saw an Imperial observer (just before I was overtaken by a large group of aggros). Now I remember the NPC said there were imperial observers working at the caves, so could the evidence I need be looted from that observer guy? Or is it in a container, which I didn't see any of the whole time I was down there, and if it iswhere should I start looking?
Regards,
J

Can anyone give me a more specific location for the piece of the Rebel Rescue ticket that is in the Warren? I have looked everywhere in the first big room and can't find it.

It's not in the 1st big room, its actually in the room below it. You don't have to take an elevator, just have to go down the hall that slopes down and around - it will lead to another large room.
It's on a small table in a corner at the wp listed in the guide.
I've been to the Corvette for the third time now.
The first time I went to the Corvette, it was for the Imp Rescue mission. I didn't plan ahead nearly well enough. I read the guide once, but didn't really study it. I got a buff, drank some brandy, and headed on up. I had Ubese armor with me, which is good for kinetic damage, but not so hot for energy and other ranged attacks. I managed to get the trick with the door to work to unlock the elevator. After that, I made it to the room with the code for the prison cell. I died there. After that, I died repeatedly, and had major, major wounds. I couldn't get anywhere. So, I took the escape pod out.
The next time, I joined a group heading up to do Jabba's Destroy mission. Before I knew it, one of the members in the group had completed the mission in about five minutes, just as I was ready to head out the door. I hung out long enough to kill a few things and get some experience.
Encouraged, I decided to try the Imp Rescue mission again. This time, I had a full set of Composite with really high stats. In addition to the doctor buffs, I got a full set of Entertainer buffs at about 125%. I also grabbed a Imperial PSG with high effectiveness. I stocked up on Muon Gold, Synth Steak, and Brandy. When I got to the Corvette, I downed the brandy and steak, and kept refills in the tool bar.
Just my luck, the door trick for the elevator didn't work. I think this was because a SBD was standing in front of it fighting something. So, I had to get the droid part. Actually, I got the droid part, and bye the time I got to the droid, I had so many aggros, it wouldn't let me put the part in the droid. So, I had to brave the electricity. That wasn't actually that hard. I think with the Comp Armor, PSG, my Buffs, and Synth Steak, I barely noticed any damage.
The real difficulty came when I got to the prisoners. I was aggroed by a Commodore, or Commandant, or whatever it was. I simply wasn't going to kill fast enough, so I quit healing myself and let him incap me. He did kill me. However, I had my Hero of Tatooine ring, so after he left the room and the bleed I applied to him wore off, I used the ring, got up, and quickly talked to the prisoners. After that, I made a B-line for the escape pod.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, when I was looking for the defunct droid, I looted an AV-21 power plant. It was my first try on any of the loot locations. Now, I'm looking for someone to build my AV-21 for me.
Here are some of my tips for the Corvette:
1. Get a great set of Composite Armor.
2. Get a PSG with high resistances (mine has about 48%, and I assume that is high).
3. Get a good bottle of Vasarian Brandy.
4. Get a crate of synth steak. I used about 4 steaks during my trip, but you might use a few more.
5. Make sure you bring along weapons that have armor piercing. Also bring a variety of weapons that do different damage types. Just about everything has armor and high resists, so if you absolutely have to kill something, its good to have a choice of weapons.
6. Get a good set of doctor buffs.
7. Get a good set of entertainer buffs.
8. The HERO of Tatooine Ring is helpful, but not required. Remember, you'll only be able to use it once when you get up there, so use it wisely.
9. Get a good map of the Corvette, and study it. Take whatever guide you have, and plot out where you will need to go and the order before you get there. Become familiar with the layout before you get there. I like the map at http://belita.netfirms.com (someone can clicky that if they want)
10. Use the layout to your advantage. On the main level and the lower level, sometimes you can take alternate routes to get places. If a SBD aggros you, lose him in the hall with the escape hatch. Then continue on. He will stay aggroed against you, and that will go against the cap of enemies that can aggro you at one time.
In case the elevator code room trick doesn't work for you, here is what you need to do:
1. From the start, follow the hall around until you can make a left.
2. Go through the door, and then take a right. Go down the hall.
3. Take a right, and then your first left into a large room where SBD's will be fighting whomever your enemy is for that mission.
4. On the left, there is a door, go inside and find the defunct droid. Search it, examine it, whatever the command is to get the spare part.
5. Back track to the hall that bends from the starting location. Go the elevator at the end of that hall and go down.
6. Take a left out of the elevator.
7. Follow that to the hall and take a right.
8. Follow that hall to the back of the ship--the SBD room.
9. Take the ramp down.
10. If you are aggroed at this point, you can't fix the droid (an R-2 unit I believe). If you aren't fix the droid, he'll turn off the electricity in the next room and you can get the code. If you are aggroed, and you have all the gear and buffs I mentioned, you can walk right into the doorway, and access the terminal across the room while only taking a minimal amount of damage.
11. Get the code and head back to the elevator access room.
Take care. I'm off to do the Imp Destroy mission.
