Didn't read the whole thread, so forgive me if I'm restating or asking a question that's already been answered. Here it is:


1) SWEET!

2) Why are the pistols so crappy looking? All the other weapon types all look cool, but the pistols look like crap, and look like no real thought went into them.

3) Are these going to actually be availabale from the get go? Or are these going to be like the DE-10 and you have to jump through a thousand hoops, all ringed with acid and fire, or have 10 million plus credits, to get them?

4) And why are nearly all the melee weapons swords? Do you plan on adding VKs that do different types of damage (and yeah, I saw the death fist or whatever)?

Nice to see new kit as always. It is also good to see that the weapons in general are looking pretty StarWarsy. What I mean about weapons looking Star-Warsy is that from the films you can see they are modified firearms. Some of the designs here are clearly based on modern-day firearms and that is to be applauded.

On a side note, something I've always thought would be much better would be if factory run weapons showed their scopes, stocks etc. I love the T21 as a weapon but it looks so darn stoopid with no stock. Same with any of the rifles and carbines.


I've also always wondered why a stock increases the HAM costs. Defies logic as far as I can tell. If there is any chance of getting these issues fixed (or at least the factory run weapons showing stocks/scopes/barrels etc) alongside the new weapons it would make for a much higher variety of weapon looks in the game.


Together with the armor upgrade, it would give players an individual look, and guns just look more cool generally with kit hanging off all over them anyway!

The look of the newcarbines sofar = nice!

As Einstein, one of ourtimes greatest minds of our time would have said about the pistols: what, what, WHAT?


Ok, the flare gun looks kinda cool, but seriously, if there is never going to be any background check on what weapons that exists allready in bothCANONandEUof star wars, why bother? WeG's old lineof Star Wars RPG (all of them approved & copyrighted by Lucasfilm = canon) had tons of sweet stuff. Likethe Gundark´s Fantastic Tech: Personal Gear supplement? has tons of Hold-out/light/medium/heavy& then *unf* super heavy blasters that is in the line of DE-10's.Shug Nix, if your looking at this (that goes for anyone whomight have approvedthe designs):I feel ashamed ofwhat I seen of the pistolsso far! Justthe name "Deathhammer" makesmefeel like a 8 yearold kid in a toystore lookingatBB-guns. *ARGH*

Loving those proton weapons. Can't wait for the Deathhammer, a real Bounty Hunter pistol (though I will admit that it doesn't look as...Impressive as a Hunter would hope).


I can only hope that the rest of the armaments are just as impressive.

This was the first I had heard of this tragedy and yet it hit me as hard as

if it had just happened. Isalute you for your loyalty to a friend

who is gone but never forgotten.


This promised weapon wouldgive many including myself

a way to honor a great contributer to this game. (And I'm not

even a swordsman.)


I'm positive the powers that be will be acting on this

soon now that you've guided them back to the right path. Keep up

the good fight and count me in should you need any assistance.



I was gonna comment on the rest of the FF but now that just doesnt seem as important.

The upgrade weaponslook very nice indeed. Definitely looking forward to seeing thse go live.I only hope they will all have a distinct sound and not be a copied soundof some of the current weapons that are - in game. Case in point- why did you use the Nym Carbine sound for the Berserker rifel?

Hoping for some originality in the sounds.

DAMMITI can,t tell witch 1 is fencer altho I hope the acid sword and the reb sword is a fencer weapon WOOPY! (don't give swordsman anything they don't deserve it

The new weapons are fine looking, and who really cares if they are copied from rl weapons. I just have one question to ask on the CU.


WILL WE BE ABLE TO DUEL WELD?!!!


It looks so unbalanced for TKAs to be holding one vks, and they are using both fists. Same can be said for Fencer and Pistoleer.

Also, what about non-factioned players. this new armor upgrade. Will they get the exsisting armor improved to where they can wear them without buffs? Will they get new types of armor, they don't have quest for?
