I remember Kevin telling us during a q&a that Luke Skywalker was in the game but nobody had found him yet. I remember devs ignoring our pleas asking if and when the rebel theme park would get fixed. I remember thousands of players looking in vain for an npc called Lt. Lance (Han Solo tells you to seek him out) only to discover he isnt in the game (typo from an npc ?). I remember checking the abandoned rebel base on dantooine after taking an hr to walk there an and hr back. I remember devs telling me it was an exploit getting myself killed to shorten the journey so a new decay penalty nerf was coming. I remember a patch that finally came months later that fixed the rebel theme park. Finally, I remember finishing the rebel theme park that first day only to discover in horror that Kevin lied to us.... Luke was now a static spawn inside the sith temple. I remember quitting the next day.

Did he take a shuttle from Tatooine and speederbike to Kun's joint ? Maybe the devs dont remember ?

I remember signing back up after receiving an e-mail from soe promising a new jedi system and a combat revamp. I remember being told it would be delayed. I remember being told it would be delayed. I remember being told that JTL had its own dev team separate from SWG. I remember being told that was a lie, swg devs were working on JTL. I remember reading in disgust about a new merchant nerf coming. Finally, I remember why I quit last time.

I also remember when this game had so muc potential. I also remember when mobs were plentiful before player cities. I also remember when all of my work friends played. Then I recall them making fun of me for being a fanboy and continuing to play a broken game. Finally I remember thinking they are right. Lastly, I remembered how to cancel my accounts and did just that.

I also remember thinking am I the only one who feels this way ? Then I remember other websites (where soe is repeatedly ranked as worst customer service and swg as biggest dissapointment) that its not just me. It only feels that way because the naz... oops I mean suits at SOE censor all critical posts

...trying to have a conversation with players who said "hello" to me, only to realize they were npcs.

...looking around after trying to have a conversation with npcs, and hoping no other players were around.

...breaking the 1k credit mark.

...getting new clothes (must have walked around in noob clothes for months).

...my first time to Yavin, which was a group hunting trip. No mounts, just picking our way through the terrain - carfully.

...the first time I discovered our "personal light," and turning it off if I approached a red mob - thinking that they wouldn't be able to seeme as well.

...cantinas that were "meeting" places, with 99% or better of the entertainers actually *at* the keyboard.

...talking trash to friends just for fun in a language none of them knew - until someone was "kind" enough to train us.

...watching a noob friend take on one of the corsec troopers in Tyrena...and seeing him run for his life.

...wondering if there really was such a thing as a female wookiee.

Oh the good old days. *sniff*

One more memory - and this I don't know how I could forget...My first pet! Had him trained for me, with the name I chose. Level 12 Gurreck, way before the CH nerf. He was my pride and joy. Still keep him in my data pad, waiting for the day when he hunts alongside me again.

...my first small Tatooine house on the mesa southeast of Mos Eisley...

...the time my friends and I walked all the way out to Jabba's Palace to do the Jabba Theme Park; it took us 3 days to walk out there and do the whole theme park without mounts or vehicles...

...everyone was buying rock beetles as non-CH pets...

...my first trip to Endor; OMG, so many reds--my radar was nearly solid red...

...after a month of playing, thinking the 60K credits I had was a lot.
