They attack your lifesupport and suck it dry. Once it's nerfed they simply move on to another "host", feeding their needs until thoose abilities are nerfed as well.

We have all right to be truly scared of dabblers. All oldtimers know perfectly what it means when someone suddenly start to drain dabble in one of your favorite skillines. It's the next skilline to be nerfed. No skillset are healthy enough to survive them... no time in history have a master been compensated for a nerf caused by dabblers...

4000 Enhancer have almost no life left... 4000 healer was a juicebag... 0400 Wielder is almost drained now... 0004 was a snack treat...

What next will the dabblers sink their teeth in... who will be the next pray... 0400 Enhancer? 0040 Defender?

I'd guess that one would be next.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

The devs said they would make mastering more desirable with the CU.

But to achieve this, they have added the level system.

If you are not double master, you are not level 80 and suffer intrasec penalties (life, def and att).

Once again, jedi got away from it, and jedi is the last class that can dabble with nearly no penalty (only difference is the force amount, but since a few patch, force is no more an issue once you hit 4000-5000).

Is this good or bad ? I m not judging, but I see just that we get a different treatment.

I m a 2.5 master because I have chosen to be one.

If other can and want to dabble, so be it.

They haven't managed to spoil my fun, that a certainty

what a pathetic post ............

Wooo Hooo its a game not real life ok get over yourself. Ever thought that if master templates were significantly more powerful at all lvls there would be no template divercity.

Anyway who cares TBH.

-EDIT AFTER COOLDOWN-

Ok, I was a bit overheated there... but I am severly tired of nerfs.

A "Jack of all Trades" are supposed to be a good template through diversity, but they should never match a master in their specialized field. Let's say you dabble in photography and programming. This means that you can take photo's and do some utilities, but you will never be able to bypass a Master Photographer or Master Programmer in their own field.

Whenever you do not need "Master" to be the best in a specific ability that ability will most likely get nerfed. This is a flaw with the whole system.

I wish they would fix so that a dabbled ability will never be more than 25-50% as powerful than what a master can perform with the same ability.

Force Wielder is almost in it's entirety based on your amount of force accuracy, except for Cloak. I wish all abilities in all skillsets can be based on a similar skillmod that you only maximize when you are master. Whenever you buy a dabbler ability cheap it should have a weaker effect and higher failure rate than what you will be able to expect as a master.

I think NiL has a very good point that most of you aren't seeing very well nor aren't understand what is being said. More diversity would be gained by seperating Masters from dabblers at that certain skill group. Using for example Master Enhancer to speed up a dabbler in Lightsabers is a good way to "improve" the ability yet having master should have more of a noticable difference. Having mods reaching certain levels at master is a good way to seperate and make dabbling still useful but making those templates more seperated and not a one way to do it type of deal. For those that keep flaming about this need to find something more useful to do. Flaming an opinion such as this isn't constructive whatsoever. Come up with an idea yourself and stop cutting down someones opinion. I agree with your thought NiL keep them coming.
