Once again, you can't blame the players or penalize them for poor information or poor game systems.
Finally, the players who are the most adversely affected by this problem are the very players who have shown the most loyalty to Star Wars Galaxies through its tumultous two year history (and pre-history). This "let them eat cake" attitude does not fly well at all.
There are ways of remedying this. Given your history, I wouldn't be surprised if you do fix this. But this is yet another example of incredibly poor communication and attitude towards your customers. Bad form.

Like many others here, I want to claim the Lambda shuttle. But to do this, I'll have to claim the 2-year reward first. Now if SOE keeps to their announced schedule, the new reward (fireplace) should make it in before the anniversary rewards are phased out, so no problem there for me.
But this still is not fair to all those who have claimed their rewards already. Once again those getting the short end of the stick are those who have stuck with you longest. Especially since you claim you will add more item in the future - so does that mean that in a month or three we will see another 2 year reward, maybe even the bunker house that's been speculated on? If that is the case, if you are working on something like this, you better let us know NOW.
Holy---- those monsters. There going to ditch like half the real veterans on most the items they are "going to add later". What the ---- are all these toys. Very sad and disillusioned =P
-Devs response- Its ok we the nerfs and Semi crap content to keep you busy. Have you seen the new holograms?
-Devs 2 year Empire day gift- Happy 2nd anniversary here is a banner.
And they called it a combat upgrade.
List goes on and on. I really hope theres someone controlling them because if any developer on any game saw so many responses to so many ---- ups. Still does this to its people. Well no real nice way to put it so i wont lol.
I say take this publish and vet rewards back and dont come back until its reasonable.
So when is Star Wars Galaxies 2 coming out?

What? So we have to wait three months before we can get the new rewards being added in?
We were never told that more rewards would be coming. Some of us would've prefered, say, a fireplace instead of the Death Star hologram. But because the Devs never told us more rewards were coming in, we thought the rewards in publish 20 were the only ones we were getting, so we claimed them.
You guys where too lazy to tell us more would come, and because of that we have to wait thre months to be able to get the new rewards? That doesn't sound very fair.

Just a side note to whom of the devteam it concerns: You might like slapping your customers in the face, but there might be responses to this as well...

That is so wrong in so many ways.
Three days after some of the new rewards are live IG you tell us there is more than one 24 month reward.When we question why we don't see the other one liveyet you tell usit will be live with pub 21. Thisis not so bad for those who have not yet claimed the live 24 month reward, but many players assumed, because there was NO advance notice, that the Death Star holo was the only 24 month reward. (poor communication IMO)
We were told of the 2 year aniv reward options in advance, but not the 24 month vet reward options or the situation that kept one from being live till pub 21. Why? Not being given advance notice takes on another aspect given that the way the claim system works you have to choose all the vet rewards available to you beforeyou can claim the aniv reward.
I would be willing to bet that most players would have understood and patiently waited till pub 21 for all the 24 month vet rewards to be available, if you had just come to us and said, "Hey, here is what we are going to do for the vet rewards and they will be in pub 21."
For those who have already chosen the 24 month vet reward you say, "You can get these rewards at your next 3 month interval." Nice that if they want the other 24 month reward they now have to give up a 27 month reward at their 27 month mark, and so on with every successive reward interval. (punitive to those thatacted based on incomplete informationIMO)
Nice way to show your thanks to those of us that have stuck with this game for so long.
I know this is a small and minor issue compared to all the bugs and profession problems you guys are (or should be) working on, but I know that for months the player community has been asking for details about the 24 month vet rewards. All we asked for was some info.
I continue to be disappointed in SOE's communication with the player community. Is it so hard to be open and honest with us? Is it too much to ask that we be fully informed of things so we can make an informed decision?
How many times do we have to say this before you guys get the point?

This is simply NOT acceptable. You put the choices in the NEXT patch, after me and many others already claimed our rewards. So the best youcan tell us is "We screwed you, deal with it, you'll get your choice next time"?You all need to put down the crack pipe and check yourselves into rehab
