Regarding Spinner Blades:
Drop MUCH more often if you get a wild spawn. Just keep your eyes open for random spawns of Hidden Daggers. I looted 3 Blades in under 3 minutes at one wild spawn of 5 or 6 activists. Hope this helps

Im amused by implication that there are wild and domesticated hidden daggers even tho I know exactly what he means but imagine:

Sir David Attenbourough Naturalist: "And here we have them, Wild Hidden Daggers in their natural Corellian Habitat. Look how the dominant female performs the dance exotic 2 to attract the alpha male, a behaviour not often seen in the domesticated variety"

I was unaware of the bug and I too have fallen afoul of it. The link to the bug thread in earlier messages in _this_ thread now points to the "message not found" page however I can detail what happened:

15 March 2005

Looted Agitator motor schematic - Soooo happy

Went to theed. Retrieved crafting tool from the bank and proceeded to start crafting. Learned the Schematic for the agitator and the flora recycler and started crafting on the agitator motor. Installed the components in the slots and hit assemble (I am not standing near a crafting station for this as you dont need one and cant experiment on recyclers anyway, at least not to any effect).

Result: "Internal Error: No Owner found for Prototype"

Net result - I lost 1 schematic 2 red wiring and 1 cheap copper battery and got no agitator motor either.

Now the earlier posts seem to suggest that this happens every time with recycler parts, however I have also had a simlar message while crafting normal items which also rendered me unable to craft anything at all until I had logged out for 10 mins and completely restarted my client.

ive been able to craft them today using the following method:

combine as normal

when you get the error type

/nextCraftingStage;

nothing will happen, but im not sure if it works without that step

then type

/createPrototype;

this will make all the ingredients disappear

/createPrototype

this will end the crafting session and put a timer on your crafting tool as its counting down.

out will pop you crafted item!

this has worked on:

agitator motor

tumble blender

chemical recycler

metal recycler

i cant promise this will work for anyone, but it did work for me several times as stated above.

I had a friend do all the crafting (since i had already redeemed my one time restore), i suggest others do it this way for the same reason

good luck! hopefully we can get our recyclers again!

its not totally useless

as an architect i made bestine paintings, was a pain in the ass to collect a large enough stack of hide to produce a sizeable run of paintings. or most furniture for that matter

this lets me take anything and make it schematic ready

same with with smuggler slicing tools, tailors everything, and all non-combat oriented crafters where quality isnt so important but where making stuff on a mass scale is.

Most professions have some resources they need where quality doesn't matter.For someone to saythat these generic resources are useless just shows that they have clue.
