I do neutral destroy missions on gorath. Time from going up to ground for me is just over 5 mins. That is with looting all four containers and blowing ship up. Out of 12 missions I have done the door to elevator switch console has only been locked once and I have never needed code for armoury. There is one trick to getting out of this mission alive and solo. When first starting you go up one level to get the code disk in the room next door of course is a lootable armoire. DO NOT LOOT!
Why? Well unless you want to run risk of dieing from super agro go ahead. The trick here when getting initial agro is to draw enough, but not too much to kill you, so when doing rest of mission you take minimal hits. Only so many mobs can agro you at once not that soe would mind having ever critter on you at once it comes down to server usage and memory and only so much getting dedicated to you. Now that said after looting other 3 containers and finishing distruct sequince go back upstairs to the loot armoire you bypassed loot and bail.
Using this technique like I say I never die never have to use friegn incap and completion is under 6 mins.
One other thing for first mission to save your armour from getting trashed from multiple deaths go up naked having stored any items that decay from death in bank ,house, droid whatever. Now bring food and spice and run from sppot to spot you will die fast but should stay alive long enough to be able to explore when you die in a room you can still look around and see where switches are even if cant use them.

Can anyone give me a more specific location for the piece of the Rebel Rescue ticket that is in the Warren? I have looked everywhere in the first big room and can't find it.

I must be the most unluck SOB around. I finished my 7th and 8th run this morning for the destroy mission. each time i have looted all 4 locations and have yet to find a powerplant. I think Ill just run mokk missions and save up the cash to buy one
.
did have one question thoug. Using the agro technique, if I do the assasination mission will the mark agro me if i attack him. and if so if I already have max agro will his flunkies attack me as well?
Just wondering if maybe ill have better luck with a different mission.

well I have heard said on average power plant drops in 1 out of ten missions. I was lucky at first but last 6 I have done have been without finding any either.

Oh one other thing if that is true one power plant for every 10 schematics what is the point of making schematic so common? SOE this is your brain on drugs. Learn to say no.

Well, maybe they only expected you to get a schemo (win) once every 10 missions, too. How many times did you try and die before you knew what was going on?

Well, I finished destroy mission yesterday in five min or less. And today, a buddy of mine and I completed rescue mission on the first attempt.
Some things that helped me are the following..
1) The guide
2) Color coded map of Corvette
3) New comp armor, psg, brandy, synthesteak, aircake, and neutron pixie
One tough thing about the rescue mission is that you can't talk to prisoners if you are in combat. Fortunately, i got incapped in the prisoners' room, and the rebs didn't deathblow me. I ran to the far left corner before I went down, and I was sweating it thinking the deathblow was coming. But the rebs left the room with me laying there on the floor. I only had to talk to one of the prisoners and I got the faction point reward and the badge.

Awsome guide. For me the 3rd time was the charm. First time I didn't read as much as I should have (wanted some surprise) and just explored. Second time I set the last code with 1 min left but didn't get to the Pods in time (no badge, no schematic). FYI if you don't use an escape pod to leave, you stay Overt. I found this out the hard way, twice! As far as loot, it has blown cookies for me, junk armor and weapons. I do have one question about loot areas, can each member loot or is it first come first serve?
Anyway 5 STARS to:
Main guide
3D Map
Visual guide - http://www-scf.usc.edu/~madhav/vette/
I could not have done it without these.
I gave 5 stars to the post about the agro from above too, I was thinking the same thing but had not tried it yet.
Any links to good visual guides out there for Rescue and Assanation?
One thing that I do different, I have 2 char, so I take both up... I have not yet been able to get as good as some of you and not die, let alone be done in 5 mins, so I tag team. With lvl 4 meditate I can get back to no wounds while my alt is doing the next part. I also tend to do the engine room while I still have buffs. If one person is incapped for 90 secs or so I use the other to move on and save time. I use the two of them to clear the starting floor by pulling the 12k Ham troopers to the starting room and fight with one char and have the other macro target/attack in the dirction of the hole in the back of the room as to not cause any unwanted agro. I have found that if the room that has the elevator swith door is closed for one char, it does not mean it is for the other.
I look forward to doing the other 2 and may be the Destroy mission regularlly.
Thanks again for all the help, I would have never been able to do the Vett without this, as I am not in a guild and pickup groups for the Vett are a joke.

"Rescue mission:
2nd - Rogue Corsec Base: Corellia, (5200 1600) (i think). Its in the smaller multilevel building again at the very bottom. Type /target storage to select."

This is no longer true. You need to search the Desk next to the storage container not the container itself. Took me forever to figure this out.

A new Master Swordsman here, just wanted to know peoples opinion:
Is it just me, or does everyone get killed with 4-6 shots from a SBD? If not, may i ask what you have as far as energy protection goes? I can 3-4 ensigns at a time, but 3-4 SBDs? Please give me some insight on how to get my energy protection up!
Thanks
