A Great (!) guide! I completed yesterday and good as I am I destroyed the crystal. hehe
However I got another strange loot from the lvl 110 dude: A mystical orb (looks exactly like a red crystal)... is this decoration only? As far as I know you get a holocron if you take the crystal yourself?
Do you know, SonG ?
Yeah, Lord Vartonis is CL110 so, besidesthe Lava Skiff Deed,he drops random loot appropriate to his level, such as a holocron, damage crystal, attachments, heavy duty clasp, mystical orb, wound pack, and so on. Unfortunately, the mystical orb is just a decoration (even if it has mods, which some do).
Great Guide! /bow

- Found out the buff from the Mysterious CrystalDOES actually have a time limit (500 seconds). Updated the info and advice in the guide to reflect this.

Huh?
Posting you PM's in the jedi forums
Re: State of the Jedi Profession
Yeah, I read it... not much to say, really. I had hoped that making Jedi a "starter profession" would finally make the devs treat us equally, but obviously that isn't the case. Probably because Blixtev is still in charge of our development...
/sigh

What's to explain? The quote is pretty self-explanatory, but if you need me to elaborate...
When I found out that they were making Jedi a "starting profession" (on November 2nd, likeeveryone else)I was at first shocked, then I took some solace in the fact that if Jedi were in fact viewed by the devs as being 'equal' with the rest of the professions/classes then they might actually start treating Jedi issues more seriously. For example, the Flawless Pearl problem that went completely ignored throughout the entire life-span of the CU.
Unfortunately, from the devs responses to the several issues being brought up regarding NGE Jedi, it seems that nothing has changed and they're going to go right onignoring the major (and minor)issues. I mean, no armor for Jedi... a dedicatedmelee class... WTFH is up with that?!?
As for Blixtev... Well, I just plain don't like him very much... In fact, Iplace many of the past, current, and future Jedi problems squarely on his shoulders... He's probably not to blame himself, but the arrogance and close-mindedness of his replies to Jedi issues was and is extremely disappointing.
