Do they function in the same way as Ubese bandoleers? Meaning, do they never loose condition for deaths and never lose condition for taking damage?

Awesome.
Thx for the answers
Second question......I know that two AA's with the same modifier will not stack if they are placed on the same piece of armor, for exapmle, 2 pistol acc AA's on a Ubese bandoleer with +4 and +6 will net only +6.
However, what if I had pistol acc +11 on a Ubese bandoleer and pistol acc+10 on a Mubari belt. Will they stack?

Yes they will. I have a pistol speed attachment in ubese shirt, another in mabari belt, and another in ubese bandolier and they all stack. Make sure you get the 4 socket shirts and 4 socket bandoliers to give you room for other attachments too
One thing I did notice though that makes me wonder if how these work will change in the future is that they are insurable at insurance terminals as if they could take decay. I really hope they don't change this, but it would not suprise me if they did.

Ughh. I hope they don't change it. I have an Ubese bandoleer for my BH with +11 pistol acc, + 13 carb speed, +6 pistol speed and + 7 carb acc while moving. I want to compliment it with a Mubari belt with similar stats
Then I'll work on an Ubese shirt

The Mabari Belt has not been reclassified. It has always been armor.
If you equipped the belt and then a piece of armor, and then un-equipped the piece of armor, you would have been told "You are still wearing armor", etc.
There was a bug which caused the armor check not to count belt, boots or gloves depending on the order in which they were equipped (or un-equipped). That bug was fixed in pub22, so now the belt always counts as armor, regardless what order you equip it in.

Mabari "Armor" Belts are now working as intended post publish 22.

So this is the final word on this? I am sure we all agree that this is just BS. They go through and change the bandos and shirts to be clothing. Why not change this too?

Nothing is going to change now. Tiggs has spoken. Now, chalk this up as you got suckered by SOE's lack of communication skills and programming. Move on now, enjoy the game. We fought a good fight, lets focus on things that still matter...
Speed bug anyone?

Yeah, I guess we should now try to get the skill mods working along with pearls dropping again. For some wierd reason, I don't think this is going to be the last time we hear about this.
