Is there any list of the various Faction ranks and the benefits gained from going up?

If there are no real benefits, I'd rather put my FPs into other stuff (pets, armor, etc.).

How many ranks are there and how many FP per rank? Anyone know?

So far I know:

Lance Corp 400 over 200

Corp 800 over 200

Next up is Sergeant at 1200 fp above 200..

While on this topic...has anyone found out how to display our ranks? I went overt for a while but it wasn't an option on the title selection to be called 'Lance Corporal'. I can't even find the rank on the character sheet! Com'on Devs! We pay for these ranks with our blood and sweat!! Can we at least see our own rank or display it to others?

So..any way to display it?

By the previously displayed pattern (400 rise each time) it's probably 1600.

Do costs actually go down as you rise in rank, or is it just a raise in the cap?

There's a lot of ranks. I've heard somewhere that the rank is supposed to be visible on the overt players (but may not be, currently) and that if you buy faction uniforms, they show the rank as well. I know that when I converse with an NPC of my side, it says something like "Hello, [rank]. What can I do for you today?"

Anyway, the ranks (lowest to highest)....

Imperial:

Private, Corporal, Lance Corporal, Sargeant, Staff Corporal, Staff Sargeant, Master Sargeant, Warrant Officer II, Segeant Major, Warrant Officer I, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, Army Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, High Colonel, Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, General, High General, Surface Marshal. (23 total)

Rebel:

Private, Corporal, Lance Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Corporal, Staff Sergeant, Warrant Officer II, Master Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Warrant Officer I, Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, Army Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, General, High General, Surface Marshal. (22 total, no High Colonel in Rebellion apparently)

I am currently a master sergent.....but there are 22 ranks for rebel...23 for imperial.

does anyone know the quickest way to obtain faction points. These FED X missions for 11 points are driving me nuts and i dont feel like hunting in a group and splititng the points. That turns out even worse. Is a battlefield the quickest place to get faction points and if so, where is there one on Tantooine?
