Thread: how is anyone going to do DWB after CU?

since it takes so many people now how are we ever going to get enough people to actually complete the DWB after the CU?

its not that challaging.......all you ned is like 2 CM's to keep healing

the CM's cant heal you if your being hit by like level 200 (over-exageration) SBD's, basically getting 1 shotted. Since max combat lvl is 80, and i've been seeing just stormtroopers having 90+, how the hell are we ever going to kill SBD's? Basically we wont. Especially since group size is only 8 people now. So, dont expect to do stuff in the CU.....

The most obvious answer to this question is that all of the NPCs/creatures will be rebalanced as well.

nothing over level 50..tho id say 66(i tried geonosians) is balanced...and even the geo caves is a lot harder..and obviously not balanced..but to get an idea



acklay is level 154 or 156..forgot exactly..and geos are 66.

Shouldn't be too hard, you'll just need to think more tactical. Bring the right kind of people. A Smuggler to slow them down, someone to heal, ect.

you missed the point entirely. currently the level based system is making things 1 level higher than you some unkillable juggernaught and 1 level lower than you a pitiful weaking.


Things in the DWB are currently ultra high level. maybe it'll get taken down, but you can't be healed to any means to stop 1 shot incaps.

As of right now, the only mobs that are "working" are from level 1-50. (they say that we're only supposed to test level 15-50 mobs on the starter planets when you log in) so anything above that is not balanced. They'll tone down everything that's not balanced level-wise before they release the CU. I hope....

has anyone here been to DWB on TC yet? if you havent dont say how hard it is. Also nothing is finnal untill the day it comes out and then still things can change just wait till they are testing that stuff.

it doesn't really matter if they're going to be brought in line if the basic play of combat doesn't change.


level 50 creatures still put the ultimate smackdown on level 45 characters.


imagine a DWB mob with even level 100, while the max human character is level 80.


2-3 shots max, 1 hit kill if you are unlucky.


I doubt a cm or doc will be able to heal you fast enough.


thats why the level system sucks.

The DWB will be for people with certain proff. only. Since group is only 8 max. And in that group you need some specialised people to do crafting jobs inside, People to heal, people to do states, en then there will be not many people left to do actual damage. Unless you assemble 2 teams. A offence/tactic team and a backup team.

I can't understand why a lvl system should be so damn bad ass you say.

Then all the other MMORG are all wrong, they use only that system, oh and see all other so kind games too. Hell what do they think they do...

No it's much better everyone has only his few stats and that en full-buffed newbie can take down a Master of a Combat Class, that's so damn realistic...
