Correction. It cannot be just any ring. I acquired the Restore Life ring after completing the Hero Of Tatooine quest. Once I acquired this ringit was already insured.

No, you don't split money. That is, it isn't done automatically. That's pretty much it. Make sure the rings you are using are not equipped...'propose unity' is a little buggy.

Yes. Just bring up the radial menu on the ring you used in your inventory, and select 'Divorce'.

Oh no, are they going to turn marriage into:
Him: "I married you, and now you wont cook for us?"
Her: "Don't you mean, I won't cook for you?"
Her: "You know, I like that girl in the Twi-Lek painting."
Her: "Why, because she's prettier than me?! Is that it?!"
Him: "No, because she doesn't talk as much as you!"
Her: "Gaaah, now you've done it! I'm not giving you any more Vasarian Brandy!"
Him: "But I need them to run my Doc Buffing business!"
Her: "Then find them somewhere else!"
Him: "Fine, then! Maybe I will!"
And then the kids have to go to therapy, and there's a big lawsuit over custody, and some of the belongings under question get "damaged...."
It's not a pretty site, let me tell ya
