I was wondering they said something about Quest Oriented..whats that mean..some tell me holocrons willb e of use in this and i was thinking this is gonna be alot harder??? if it im hoping til be just Quests and not the needle in a haystack holo grind. i only came to star wars for 1 purpose.. to be a jedi. no i dont want jedi academy..different game..whole new different game. i want to be a jedi and thats what i plan doing but since im not a hardcore powergamer i cant be a jedi unless i take years of patience? i really hope the quest oriented is Easier than thte needle in a haystack grind....i just dont have enough time to do that and i dont even work................tell me thats bad

i was just reading over the message board for the in concept developments about the issue of whether the new jedi path should be known or mysterious, ect. for the quest based FS stuff in publish 10. There are a lot of people who still want to be jedi and there are a lot of people who think there are too many jedi and want the requirements for jedi to be harder.I though of an idea to maybe satisfy both points of view. There could be restricted servers and say unlimited servers. So, people who want to be jedi reguardless can have there characters on the unlimited server where unlimited amounts of jedi are allowed and yet the requirements to unlock jedi are still tough but not as insane as the equivalent to 28+ prof grinding. then those who are more serious players can play on the restricted galaxies where there is a set number of jedi on the entire server and once the limit is reached, thats that (say no more than 100 or so, tho specific numbers are not a concern now). after seeing so many discussions about players who buy this game to become jedi and are disappointed and those who buy the game and are disappointed by the high numbers of jedi in the game, i think different levels of gameplay need to be established by SOE so they can get the satisfaction of both levels of gamers. Then light and hardcore gamers alike can play and be satisfied with the star wars environment they want. i also think this would boost the amount of subscribers they have withoutboring or disappointingtheir older, devouted gamers. Any feedback on this idea would be appreciated. thx

I see the point you are getting at, but doing this would only cost sony money.

If the serverI was on limited the number of jedi, I would not play for much longer. Im sure many others feel that way too.

If they cloned my server, and let those who wanted to move over to the limited server, it would cost them money for the hardware, and admin of that new server.

But... Everyone has their own opinion on what is fun.

Limit new Jedi...

Holo system.. you have to do 6.. (one month tops)
THEN you can start Quest System.. (another 6 months)
THEN you do Padawan Quests.. (another Month)

LMAO 7 months to 1 Year to open the slot..

I am just kidding.. read before you /flame

While I would not have quite put it like that, I agree with Rowwooky.

To survive as a Jedi, you must know the mechanics of the game inside and out..one good way to learn is to master a couple of varied professions.

I would suggest mastering BH, Chef, and maybe TKA before going for Jedi
