What were you thinking with the Jedi Village system???
Sure becoming a Jedi should be a long and dangerous road.....but it should also be fun. Continuously grinding combat xp to have it converted at a 30:1 ratio is NOT fun. Sure all you flamers will say "don't do it then" but I've done most of what the game has to offer and wanted to try something else.
Where did the concept of becoming "Uber" = Grind...Grind..Grind and Grind some more. What about the concept of Quests + Dedication to your Profession + Player Loyalty = better skills?.
Please think up some actualFUN game concepts before it's too late and get away from this "Grind" mentality that you have.

pickup commando, use grenades, they dont give weapons xp, they give combat xp, i like imp detonators if im not a master, otherwise proton's then. 30:1 goes fast with 3 guys using grenades to kill pikets or huurtons or voritors

1) Do some quests
+
2) Stay dedicated to your profession, thus saving up surplus XP
+
3) Play the game - Nobody told you have to grind out the XP as fast as you can
=
Better skills.

i'd agree with most of that, but i duno about the quest to becoming a jedi being "fun" per say, but it shouldn't be more boring than a job doing data entry. and at least in the later case you would be getting payed.
I dont mind spending a lot of hours doing somthing chalanging to unlock my jedi, i'd just rather be able to spend it doing something more entertainning than trying to make certain species extinct. one advantage of this system is that all jedi are going to be very rich people, not simple folk like luke, put people that can afford to give away av-21's. As you can earn 1 million credits easy every time you max out your xp and are ready to cash in, as you have to do this an unsightly amount of times, thats a fair few million credits.
and if i were yoda i'd probably rant something about the darkside comming from such a challange. infact after such a challange we're more quallified than most sith masters, and more blood on our hands that just about anyone i've ever read about

Problem with this is. This will take another revamp and screw current jedi and fsers AGAIN. Plus it will take them a half a year. PLease be careful what you ask for, we just might get it, and it be worse. Modifying the conversion ratio, and wuest timer is a quicker fix.

Yeah the new way is pretty rediculous. you spend at least 25 times more time grinding experiene than doing the quest,s which are pretty mundane in themselves. IMO holo grindign was better because at least you got to try new professions rather than grind the same thing over and over and over and... well you get the idea.
A long involed quest system would be much nicer than the experience grind/convert system that we have now. Heck even the ability to choose to do the old school grinding method along with the current system would be a huge improvement.

The village should have been an immersive, time consuming, and interesting batch of quests. Instead, its just one giant xp filled time sink. The village quests were a good foundationand should have been expanded. There simply isn't enough new content to experience and become immersed in.
FS xp is not hard to gain at all, there is no challenge. Its simply repetatively time consuming. This system is blatently and obviously grindable.
The inane xp requirements for force sensitivity are rote and uninteresting to a mindnumbingly degree. FS xp is nothing but a filler tothe void between village phases.
Where there should have been immersive content there is nothing but xping and more xping.
I don't want the path of force sensitivity and jedi to be easy. I just want it to be immersive and interesting. These xp costs are in no way shape or form interesting in the least.
