Haven't tried it myself but hear that opening containers on Vette is almost guaranteed death due to SBD's that spawn when you do. A possible workaround I read about (again not tried) is to use /tar to target the container and then /open to open it without spawning SBD's. Let me know how it works

i have not tried to solo the vette run for the loot since i became a jedi, but i know i used to do it all the time. The SBD's always spawned but now they have shifted to spawning and instantly agro on you from my experience with running the rebel vette destroy mission last week with my jedi. from what i saw.... with a jedi... of you just run and heal. i think it can still be done solo. and probably dieing 2 times

let me know if you manage it solo i am curious. however.. there wont be much money in AV-21's. they have made them reparable now. at a garage... even disabled ones... so now they are better then a swoop that dies.. you can repair it all day long... i have not tried this myself because i refuse to destroy my av-21 just to find out

i solo the vette...but then again im also mdef lol

I just soloed jabba's destroy mission. died a few times but i competed it at CL 64.

The missions are still soloable...expect to die a few times tho....

I am MBH/MP (CL 80) the only place i didnt get to loot was the closet room which is soo full of SBD that i get killed before i loot the droid and the closet....still fun to do

Actually my friend can also solo it and he's not mdef. He has the mls/xx4x def temp, and he does it pretty easily.

I went in the vette for the first time last night and soloed all the loot spots (but not the quest.) I'm a master smuggler and used feign death a lot. I think it was bugged for me though, all 4 loot spots were completely empty and I couldn't get the first quest item for Jabba's destroy mission. I'll likely be trying again tonight now that I picked up some synthsteak.

I have no jedi skills or FS skills for that matter and I can solo any destroy or rescue mission in less than 30min and solo the loot spots on the vette... you will die a few times most likely but it is possible... you could prolly solo the assassin if you can get nothing but the mark in the top floor to agro you.

I haven't done it for about 9 months, but the 'vette was always soloable (aside from the assassin missions that is) if played "smart". It takes determination and sticking to the game plan rather than getting distracted by trying to kill things or loot while working.

I did all but Jabba's assassination solo with Master Droid Engineer/Master Pike (holo professions that I was stuck with at the time). I did need help on the rebel assassin mission, but the rest just required single-mindedly performin the series of tasks.

I'm not sure how it is now, but I'd like to get the assassin mission done to finish the badge collection. Is this possible with only 4040 defender or should I take along a few friends? Can jedi heal wounds on the 'vette? (I have heard that FR works while BR doesn't, but I haven't confirmed. If so, perhaps jedi healing will work-the same as TKM could heal-when docs cannot?)
