Okay...I hate to be completely rude...but has ANYONE from SOE EVERYONE ACTUALLY TRIED THIS QUEST! It has to be the most frustrating, ignoramous thing on the face of this planet. I would rather it be impossible to finish because of enemy difficulty than impossible to find in the first place.
This is f*ing insane.....good riddance. Anyone who has the patience to actually do this, I salute you....I even hired a ranger to help me scout the damned planet for 12 hours...and it still didn't f*ing work. Didn't find a single spawn.
Another great SOE failure. I'm not really surprised.

If you want to rub in my face that you got it and I did't, you could have at least done so privately.

You talk smack about SOE and how impossible this is. One person says it can be done but takes luck and you get insulted? Wow!
What is the big deal, just dont do the quest.
Just because the spawns dont fall your way, it is not a failure by SOE. either keep trying or just let it go.

i also did it fairly quick. its supposed to be hard for a reason, becuase you get a really handy reward at the end. its all about knowing were to look, and not just randomly running around, make some sort of search grid and start riding the pattern, thats how i found them.

If you're mad because you couldnt finish this in a day then please be quiet.
But if it's been a couple of days to a week then just do it after server reset.

I can see how it would be frustrating to driver around on Tatoonie for hours looking for the spawns, but then nobody said you have to do that ina day, did they?
I just went to Tatooine every day for an hour or two, drove around the (very well documented and clearly defined in various game guides)spawn areas, and when I got tired of searching, I went and did something else. After about a week I had found them all.
The farmer is the tricky one, as he tends to wander around quite a bit. And I admit I got VERY lucky with the bounty hunter. Wanted to take the shuttle from Eisley to somewhere else, had 2 minutes to wait and thought "Hey, let's take a look at the nearby BH spawn point while I wait". And sure enough, there he was
Theothers are in a relatively small area and if they are currently spawned at all (which granted might not be the case), can be found within 15 minutes if you know how to set up and execute a decent search pattern.

I found this frustrating at first for two reasons. Firstly, I'm used to doing quests in a short period of time. Secondly, because I hadn't taken the time to speak to others whose experience would aid me to complete it!
BH = Easy. Just flew around the non-player towns and checked them out. Took an hour(ish)
Then I spoke to other players, listened to them AND took their advice.... (some people tend to ask a question and ignore the answers!)
Pirates = Easy. Within 1 hour I had found them and sorted out the farmers wife
Boar = Within 15 mins of leaving the shuttleport.
Farmer = Not too difficult in the end. First 3 days I wasted over 12 hours. On the day I found him, it took me 2 hours.
What I did was listen to advice from players based on their experiences. So for example :
- The Farmer can be found (anywhere north-south) in the area between the Squill Cave and Sennex.
- He tends to wander south, not north
- He does NOT appear on your radar but does on your overhead map.
I set out a grid of waypoints and started searching them working myselffrom north-south so that I didn't miss him. Didn't take too long!
People should stop whining that *they* can't do something when they haven't even spent the time to investigate it properly.

i found a bunch of waypoints for him and marked em on my datapad. went to them and found nothing. pulled up the planetary view and they were all in an arc about 2k south of Mos Entha - so i deactivated all of them, made a waypoint to Mos Entha and started off in my swoop (keeping 2000m from my mos entha wp and keeping the overlay map up). found him within 3 mins of doing this
