Whats the ratio on the buying faction points for the smugglers? (level 4 skill, left tree)

Is it like 10 credits for every 1 faction?

I have a few smuggler questions:

1- Is there anyway for me to have a Smuggler slice my armor and weapons without me giving them to him? There are some Smugglers on my server that are offering slices and running off with people's armor for resale.

2- Are slices permanent? Or do they wear off, even while the armor or weapon is still usable?

Yes there is a way to do that, is you have to be in your house and put the weapon and armor on the ground and the slicer can target it and slice it that way. then you would have to pay them. and as for the slices they are perm and they can never be sliced again after they have been sliced. if you have someone that can slice it and they are not using the clamps and they fail on the weapon or armor nothing will happen to the item just can never be sliced again. hope this helps some.

Unfortunately, this leads to slicers getting ripped off. While this is the best option for the customer, it is the worst for the slicer. Best way is to find a slicer that you trust and trusts you.

Exactly....I wouldn't slice a customers stuff I didn't know in his house....

I haven't heard of any cases of someone running off with stuff though...

It basically comes down to the fact that some people will rip you off and most won't. It's just that occasional time you fall victim to the rip off and that makes everything skeptical from then on out. My advice would be find a few smugglers you know are trustworthy and try to use them. But, don't be afraid to try out the new up and coming guy either since we all need exp.

Does the cap on slicing really go up when you reach master smuggler ?

Yes.

But do they actually bother to use the calculatorinstead of pestering you with further tells?

Do Master Smugglers get pluses to slicing weapons/armor? All I wanted to do in Smuggler was Slicing, but if you have to be a Master Smuggler to slice the best, I'll probably drop it after I get Slicing IV and try it out for awhile.
