Thread: Question About The Corvette

The other night I ran the Imperial Destory mission. While I was walking around the super battle droids were fighting with the rebel npcs, or would just not attack me. Today I ran it again but soon as I passed through the disk 4 room, they all started shooting me. I feigned hoping they would turn and start attack the rebels but nope. The super battle droids and rebel npcs just all walked around together. So after a bit I stood up, and had about 6 super battle droids all doing 1200-2000 damage and they killed me.

Is there anything that affects if the sbd attack you or the rebel npcs?

I've never seen SBD's attack Rebels - I think you got lucky.

Originally The Rebel/Imp forces would battle with the Droids and it would assist in making the Corvette easier. They changed it quite some time ago.

Yup, last year in the 3rd Vette minipatch in the beginning ofMay... The difficulty was increased 3 times within the firsttwo weeks or soafter the Vette went live because it was just too easy. (The good ole days :smileyvery-happy

That sounds nice...

I've done it as Rifleman/Novice Medic and Rifle/Medi 2040 (and a wookiee - so about every 8th shot went through my armor)

Whats a good template to have to run the vette? I was TKM+Master Smuggler and it didnt work out too well. Im working on Pistoleer 4040 , Fencer 4040 , Master Smuggler. This would help more wouldnt it? It would give me like 170dodge ranged defense , and ranged mitigation 2.

I solo the 'vette with Master TK, Master Pistoleer, Smuggler 0-4-4-0, Novice Medic.

To solo the vette, buff up, put on your armor, use brandy and ahrissa, run a CoB Macro, keep your VK equipped, stim yourself as needed...you MAY need to FD one time (if you end up needing to do the elevator door unlock the long way)

Otherwise, its cake.

which one do you do? Im trying the imp destroy. I read from a couple threads that if you have strong negative faction for the npcs on vette they attack you more, but if you have like say +5000 to them they wont attack you, is this true? Also heard the neutral destroy is easier.
