Becomming Force sensitive was made somewhat easy. Getting the skill boxes however requires a massive effort, I think that is why the crafting mastery line is as good as it is, due to the effort required.

IMO Hologrinders got too much, Hologrinding was so easy and only required Macros, Time and money to buy your resources with and they get to pick the six branches they want, where as the questers have to wait till certain phases to do the quests, and then they would have to change to a profession that gave the correct type of exp to convert.

Some holo credit was fine. However Free branches PLUS exp to fill them PLUS the ability to select the ones you want is a bit much compared to the hell the Questers has to go thru just because they would rather play the game as it was intended and not do a mad rush to unlock.

Completing crafting mastery with no holocredit will only take an armorsmith 10 months if said armorsmith caps armor crafting xp at 120K once a day, five days a week.

I thought the devs said the hologrind was bad for the game?

If "Questers" really"would rather play the game as it was intended and not do a mad rush to unlock", they won't mind that it will take forever and a day to unlock any FS skills, will they?

So instead of actually practicing my trade as I've been doing, and slowly expanding my skills as a resultl, I should stop what I'm doing for 10 months and go back to making Mabari chest plates in practice mode?

So I won't be producing anything, a crafter that supplies a significant percentage of the server will be (for all intents and purposes) retired, and I'll be consuming resources at the pace of an old hologrinder for 10 months.

If it looks like hologrinding, smells like hologrinding, and feels like hologrinding...

EDIT: let me make something clear - I'm not looking for a pass. I'd be fine with crafting mastery taking 10 months to complete if I was chipping away at it doing the things an established master crafter does to stay in business. Cranking out 120,000 armor crafting experience a day practicing on Mabari chest plates isn't something I do in the normal course of my business.

/agree I can't believe they are calling this a quest-driven system.

P.S. So it looks like swoops would be the quickest grind (relatively speaking). But that assumes your template can accomodate master artisan, and that you'll be able to supply the MASSIVE amount of ferrous and non-ferrous metal.

Since I don't want to drop master doc quite yet (but do want some of the force crafting lines), I guess I'll be doing the medical crafting xp. Sounds like ABECs are the best item. This new grind system is giving me a headache.

Why the hell does this"game" feel like a stressfuljob!

Yup, at about 1600 general crafting xp per swoop or 200 Force sensitive crafting xp, that's just 6000 swoops, or about 37-38 million units of ferrous metal to finish the assembly branch that I unlocked yesterday.

Nope, nothing at all likehologrinding here.
