Just curious on how many people use or know about this interface feature?
My best on is I have my name colorized to red so my name noticeably stands out in spatial and other places.

for anyone who would like to do it but doesn't know how....go in game and click on your wrench or hit ctrl+o....click on the chat color tab..then type in the text you would like to highlite and click on "add word colorization" or "add sentence colorization", whichever is appropriate....you can remove it later if you like as well.

I've never heard of this tip before. Any chance of more details on this and possibly this being next week's Tuesday's Tip?

also, on a seperate, but related note....right below chat color settings there is an alarm feature, great for timing out attacks that have a long cooldown or to remind you to eat a new set of food/spice or reapply cob or any of the other defensive buffs.

I like running a macro to remind myself for foods or apply a buff.
Something like
/forceinfusion self;
/pause 47;
/macro FI
or
/need Brandy
/pause 720;
/macro brandy
I use the alarm to tell me when to check on the pizza.

I have my name colorized, and my guilds initials
I also colorize important things like "youve been incapped" or you killed so and so, stuff like that. I find it great for tracking who tips you too.

I color my names, and various thinks like "You have been knocked down", and back pre-cu as a fencer i had the center of being messages colored too. Now as a bounty hunter i color the message that tells me what planet they're on so i don't miss in in all the spam.

i use this all the time. i have my names to show in red to stand out in guild chat (green). i have "you have recieved/lost faction points" (paraphrased) in purple
i have a few others too. like the Knockdown message so that when i see pink on the screen its an automatic reaction to hit KD recovery (or used to be, not sure if i have replaced it on my toons yet)
but yah, anythign you find important you should add color to. this way you wont miss out on whatever

Heh..for me, "Calc" shows up in green, "credits" shows up in yellow, and "You have completely looted the corpse," shows up in red. It lets me easily keep track of what I am looting, and when people are talking to me in guild chat or spatial.
