Thread: CU is this just a PVP test for EQ2

Having a station access acct. I was playing EQ2 and SWG. And after reading all the recently releasted documents bout the combat upgrade it is really stating to sound exactly like combat in EQ2.
Not that this is a bad thing but the comabt system in EQ2 is designed for grouping, And since it is a loot drop economy that makes sense. But in SWG we have crafter based economy and the loot drops in this game to put it nicely they suck, There is really no reason to group except to PVP.
I'm really hoping that this is not a SOE tactic to do a extensive beta test for a EQ2 PVP system and using our 14.99 to beta test this.

To me this CU seems a little late in the life cycle of this game and just a way to beta test a EQ2. Any other SWG/EQ2 players care to comment on this please do.

imo i think this CU gives SWG a little EQ2/WoW tint. the special abilities and stuff u use with them is like WoW, the Fighting and how strong u are is like EQ2

forget all of them dump what u think u have created, there is one reason i dont play any of the above apart from swg, u know what that is, THEY ARNT ANYTHING LIKE SWG INFACT NOTHING OUT THERE IS.
so if this does come into action u can count me out of subs, u bring this in and the only subs u gettingof meare the ones u have already. And dont say its early days cos we know it aint when it goes on testing u got a max of about a week for it to come to live so this is more or less finished in your eyes.

The "wind up/cool down" attacks. COH had this last year and it even looks the same.
