CH, Marksman, Scout, Carbineer, Bio Engineer, Medic, Combat Medic, Merchant, Artisan, Dancer, Image Designer, Entertainer, Musician....all to get to Jedi.

I am currently a Col. for the Rebel Ranks.. I have been told there are 6 more ranks above this, including, brig. general, major gen., lt. gen, genereal, high general and surface marshal. However, when I talk to the recruiter he says I have reached the highest rank. How do I get to these other ranks? I tried going overt and it still said I have reached the highest rank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

Are they planning on making the other availalb again? Or is this a casualty of the GCW problems?

That would be nice. So would actually getting something as in some kind of special perk for being the highest rank or any rank for that matter as right now it is almost completely useless other than for delegation.

One can only hope the GCW revamp gives purpose to ranks as for the higher ranks they are not attainable. Only the NPC's can have the ranks above Colonel.

Yep, as the others said, Colonel is it. Allows you hold more faction, maybe buy bigger bases....and 100% of the time be turned overt by crackdown squads...

No use for ranks except for what is mentioned above. I'd like soe to incorporate into JTL what type of ship you will be able to pilot according to your rank. I mean, would the rebellion (or the empire for that matter) let a private hop into the seat of a fresh off of the assembly line (and very expensive) X-Wing or Tie Fighter? I think not!!

so what are ranks supposed to provide to someone? I am a WO1 right now. Besides troops, is there a quest or anything that requires a particular rank? And does SOE have any intention of making a command or putting info on the examine window in order to know what is the rank of a person with the same faction with us?
